House was very close to our event for the weekend, so great location! Early check-in was approved so that was wonderful! House is very spacious, but could definitely use some TLC and a deep clean! Kids LOVED the toy room!
Really enjoyed this place! We will definitely rent again for another visit. It was clean, spacious, a nice layout for a family and great sleeping spaces with comfortable beds. Our toddler loved the kids room with all the toys and the outside swing set was a huge hit. Close and easy walking distance to downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and nice to walk around. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
We stayed here two times in the past month while attending our son’s baseball games at Lawrence University. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard, and we found the house cute and comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we had minor questions.
The house was very clean and cozy. It was more than enough space and the location was perfect.

Good overall and very thankful for not needing a hotel room
Nate was amazing to communicate with any time I needed to reach him. His responses were kind, professional and prompt! We had a great time and enjoyed the property! It was perfect for what we needed and the kids even commented on how comfortable the beds were! Thank you!
Overall the house was very clean and felt super homey!! Very quiet neighborhood and close to many different restaurants! Nate was communicative and responded timely to last minute things that may have come up before arriving. Hopefully this house is available next year for round 2 of volleyball!
Stayed here with a couple friends while visiting for the Lions vs Green Bay game. The house was as advertised. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only knock was the refrigerator did not cool properly so we used the freezer to cool our drinks. We were only there for 2 days, one of them being game day so it wasn’t that big of a deal for us but definitely something to keep in mind. Overall good stay!

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
Refrigerator did not work.
The property overall was as presented. There were a few minor issues that likely related to remodeling an older home but were overall satisfied with the physical plant. The main issue for us was that the refrigerator did not keep food cold despite being turned to maximum coldness and we had to throw out a lot of food that we had intended to use in hosting a family gathering. For example, milk we bought there turned to chunks in 3 days.
Access to the house was easy and convenient. You are given a code to enter. The wifi didn't work at first but was easily fixable without needing to connect with the host. It said connected without internet and just needed to be unplugged. The house was very clean, larger than we expected. All three bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor had a very narrow staircase leading to the 2nd level. The one bathroom was on the 1st floor, which was a bit of a hike at night but not a deal breaker for us. The TV and sound bar were nice additions for chilling in the evening. We didn't have a lot of toilet paper for 4 people for 2 nights, we were only provided with 2 rolls. There is a coffee machine but no filters (didn't realize we needed to purchase them), and there was only instant coffee. But no kettle so we boiled water on the stove. Another thing, we had contacted our guest contact a week prior to our arrival asking for a potential early check-in and we didn't hear back. We also contact them on our arrival day and had no response again. Thankfully we didn't have any issues while we were there as it seems the contact was MIA. The next step would have been to call them instead of email, but that was a bit of a shock as hosts are usually very good at being in contact with their guests especially when they know they have people checking in.
This home was great for us and our two young kids. The toys in the room with the bunk bed were a huge hit, as well as the play structure. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and the beds were very comfy. Lots of closet/storage space if you have a longer stay in mind.
One thing I would point out is that bedrooms upstairs and toilet downstairs shouldn't be overlooked with small kids --we made it work but it's definitely a consideration!
Nate was very accessible and prompt in replying; an eager and accommodating host is always appreciated!
