Very welcoming host.Even spoilt us with Christmas chocolates and a lovely bottle of wine!Communication was great, and the cottage warm and everything needed was catered to.The free standing bathtub was a very welcome spot to relax after the local walks.

This is a beautiful property with a great little unit perfect for 2. The unit was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the stunning views of the water and mountains.

Cosy, beautiful and convenient

A wonderful rural location overlooking farmland and Norfolk Bay. Very friendly, generous and helpful proprietor. Convenient to services and features on the Tasman Peninsula while retaining sense of seclusion.

By night , u dun need to look for nature, they come to you. Host was friendly and the house is beautiful and well equipped. I went to 4 other 5 star locations around Tasmania but this was hands down the best.

Two relaxing nights before 4 day walk

The property was a great place to stay and get prepared before we did the Three Capes Walk. The view was beautiful and relaxing and the property had all the luxuries and facilities we needed. Martin was very friendly and helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay.

Farm stay at Koonya

We had 4 nights in a unit attached to the main house which was also being let out during our stay. The location was easy to find and only 20 minutes from the main road from Hobart. Accomodation was clean but basic. Bed comfortable and the bath and hot showers was appreciated in the cold and wet weather. Enjoyed local wildlife and goats in and around the accomodation. Even saw a wombat !

Tranquility

Such a beautiful place to stay, the scenery is beautiful. A short drive to Port Arthur heritage site. Many convenience stores a short trip away IGA post office fishing locations etc. Plenty of room for the kids to burn off energy. Not over priced. Our host Martin was so easy to get along with. Definitely will return.

Fantastic rural property with an amazing view! It is very quiet, is self contained and has everything you need to do some cooking. The owner even left us some freshly laid eggs from his own chickens, along with some butter and garlic etc. He greeted us on arrival and gave us container of pellets to feed the goats with, which was a lot of fun. The owner is not always there, but if he is you will find him warm, friendly and entertaining. Factor in some time to sit on the verandah and enjoy the view. The closest supplies are about 15 mins away at Nubeena, and they have a couple of supermarkets and a bottle shop, so you can get all of your supplies there. Definitely coming back here again!!!!!

Very clean with all the amenities that we required. Fantastic location with incredible views. Martin was a great host. Communication was excellent. It was also wonderful to be visited by the very friendly goats!

lovely quiet location with beautiful outlook and views.... a lovely stay

the property is situated up a quiet road on a large piece of rural land overlooking the surrounding ridges to the beautiful Tasman Peninsula. A nice stay for 2 of us, but would be a great house for a larger group. Thankyou Martin
