About this property

Rustic Cabin -Hot tub, Mtn Views

Located at 320 Fallen Tree Rd in Marshall Arkansas.
Welcome to Windstorm Cabin, a charming 5-acre wooded retreat in Marshall, Arkansas. Nestled on a ridge overlooking the Ozark Mountains, experience total tranquility in a scenic setting. This romantic, pet-friendly cabin features 360-degree mountain views, a picnic gazebo and fire pit, & luxury outdoor jacuzzi tub. Host family gatherings with our convenient RV pad. Unwind with TV streaming. Then venture into the stunning trails of Buffalo River National Park. This is cabin life at its finest.
Check into our cozy, well-stocked Windstorm Cabin, situated on a ridge overlooking the Ozark Mountains with 5 peaceful acres all to yourself. Up to four guests can enjoy delightfully modern cabin amenities, like an in-unit washer and dryer, plus all the rustic charm you’re looking for in a cabin getaway. Our cute red cabin is idyllic for a romantic couple's getaway, or an R&R trip for small families needing an escape from the city.
The minute you step through the front door, you’ll be greeted by the incredible aroma of the red cedar ceiling. Take in the cozy atmosphere of the main living area. This space is perfect for hanging out together, unwinding, and connecting.
Chill on the comfy sofa to stream your favorite show from the Smart TV. Or crack open a board game and host a high-stakes game night (loser has to unload the dishwasher!). And with a split AC and electric fireplace in here, you’ll never have to feel uncomfortable.
Before you get carried away, don’t forget to settle into your bedroom and unpack. You’ll love the private bedroom loft, which offers a super-cozy queen bed with memory foam mattress. There’s also a window overlooking the adjacent woods, closet storage, and 2 spare camping cots for your use.
Need room for more than two? The sofa on the main floor converts into a queen sleeper bed. All guests will share a spacious ¾ bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet/bidet combo. Find complimentary fluffy bath towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
After all that outdoor exploration, you’re probably starving. Luckily, our cabin offers a well-equipped kitchen so you can cook up a variety of meals. Find a two-burner cooktop stove, modern appliances like a Keurig coffee maker, air fryer, and dishwasher, and cookware sets for meal prep.
Once it’s time to eat, gather around the dining room table in the main living area. Or better yet, head outside to our pavilion picnic area. This is a romantic spot to enjoy al fresco dining under a covered gazebo. Drink in the gorgeous mountain views while you savor each other’s company.
You’ll love what’s going on inside the cabin, but you’ll love what’s going on outside just as much. Aside from our covered picnic area, aglow with magical string lights, we’re also sporting a covered BBQ grill and scenic fire pit area. Fire up the grill when family or friends visit in their RV, and gather around the fire to swap stories and make s’mores.
Our covered deck is another enchanting spot for a romantic evening. Pop open a bottle of wine, and soak in our two-person jacuzzi tub together. With epic mountain sunsets and crystal-clear stars overhead, you’ll want to make this your go-to getaway every year.

Lovely cabin, great base camp for the area
We loved the privacy and the gorgeous views here. The cabin is well appointed with everything you need, and then some! Our GPS had no problems getting us to this cabin, and it is a few miles from town, but the gravel roads were in good shape. We don’t mind the drive in order to enjoy some peace and quiet and this cabin definitely provides that!

A nice breath of fresh air😃
We enjoyed our stay! It was secluded which was exactly what we were looking for but close enough to some fun activities. We enjoyed the fire pit, gazebo, hot tub and playing games every night! We love getting away for a few days to recharge and reconnect! This was a great place to do so! We pulled away and started planning our trip back!

Best Cabin for Two
Took the opportunity for a belated anniversary get-away. This cabin was perfect for that. The property includes every modern convenience/amenity for a more than comfortable stay. (The jacuzzi, pavilion/firepit and full flat screen with surround sound, to name a few.) If I had the inclination to build a cabin for wife and I- and I have- I would likely just copy this one. Location was remote enough to allow us to feel alone in the woods while being close enough to Marshall that an impromptu grocery run did not require a major allotment of our time. While it would have been nice being closer to Eureka Springs and even Harrison for more modern diversions, they were close enough to make a day trip and our proximity to Gilbert and the Tyler Branch of the Buffalo River made for a great way to experience the nature surrounding us. All in all, a great stay that is worth repeating... ZT

Host profile image
I'm a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Army National Guard and Army Reserve having served both in an enlisted and officer capacity. As an officer, I was commissioned in combat engineering.

I love many types of music but especially country and rock. I had the privilege of growing up partly in the city and partly in the country, so I learned early on that I prefer the country. My favorite activities include motorcycling, backpacking, hiking, and camping.

My favorite destination is not a particular place but geographically I prefer woods combined with mountain scenery.

My goal as a host is for my guests to not just have a 5-star experience but to exceed their expectations. I want my guests to feel that their cost to be a guest in my cabin was worth every penny and that they would be a guest again in the future and refer friends or family.

My motto: "Live simply, Dream big, Be grateful, Give love, Laugh lots!"

Why they chose this property

Couples (or small families) can enjoy this beautifully finished cabin with stunning mountain views on the front and back side of it. It is designed primarily for couples to enjoy a romantic retreat but easily handles 4 people (6 if ok with a couple of camp cots). The front deck has a two-person jacuzzi tub that is supplied with hot and cold water but also a heater to maintain a comfortable temperature. Outside there is a covered pavilion with a fire pit, picnic table and BBQ grill. The gazebo has string lights and a ceiling fan with a single light. It has outlets for power if needed. For entertainment there is a 55" smart TV with a 1000W Rockville home theater system. The Windstorm cabin sits on a ridge on 5 acres and is approximately 20 - 30 minutes drive from the Buffalo River, famous for its beautiful scenic bluffs.

What makes this property unique

2-person jacuzzi hot tub, covered pavilion with a 12' x 16' gazebo for family and friend gatherings. We are pet-friendly!
