Super cute place!
We loved our stay here! Super cute place and felt very comfortable. We loved the outdoor sitting area, it was very peaceful and I loved relaxing outside while my husband grilled. We had everything we needed and enjoyed some of the games the cottage had. We would definitely stay here again.
Everyone likes a 89A trip from Sedona to Flagstaff AZ. And this cabin is in the middle of it.All the amenities for a romantic stay, and short distance to visit both towns.
This stay was beautiful! Despite being close to the road, it was pretty quiet. We slept with the windows open for airflow and thankfully the house had a few fans since there’s no air conditioning. Everything we needed and perfect base camp for hiking!
Perfect cabin for couples, we loved that we didn’t have cell service, technology and tv to distract our stay. The half door in the kitchen made the days and nights amazing listening to the creek and the weather was perfect in late October.
Bed was comfortable and enjoyed the starry night sky thru the skylight. We will be returning!!
Great location and a great way to spend our anniversary. Only complaint I have is it’s a little eerie to sit downstairs by the fire in the evening and not have any window coverings downstairs. Makes you feel like you’re being watched.
This cozy cabin has been updated so that you're comfortable, yet feel like you're away from it all. Rustic, yet modernized and has just what you need to take a break and unplug. Loved that you could walk to Oak Creek nearby and several great hiking trails. Enjoyed the setting and beautiful patio. I'll be back.
Fantastic Sedona getaway tucked away in Oak Creek Canyon
This was the perfect spot for my wife and I during our stay in the Sedona area. It was close enough to red rock hikes, day trips to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, but it was out of the chaos that is central Sedona during the high season. Plus the drive in an out of Sedona through Oak Creek Canyon offers stunning views.
The cabin is quaint with a lot of charm and is the perfect size for two people. My only complaint is that the floor mat in the kitchen did not stick to the floor and was better off not being there. Certainly not worth knocking a start over, this place was amazing!
We weren't able to stay at the property due to a family emergency. We contacted Evolve to let them know understanding the refund policy and that we weren't eligible for any refunds. Despite not being eligible for a refund, they are still attempting to help us out with an alternate solution. We hope to visit the property in the future!

Perfect Cabin in the Canyon!
Wow - we cannot say enough about how beautiful and perfectly appointed every detail in this cabin is! It's beautiful; it's cozy; it's situated in the perfect spot between Sedona and Flagstaff. There are skylights in the ceiling to allow the daylight in and to give you a peek into the night sky. The front patio faces the mountains and you can watch the sun sink behind it. The host, Meghan, was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. Water was hot when it needed to be; water is good to drink (we are picky about that); the bed was comfy; plenty of cooking utensils, eating utensils, dishes/plates/drinking glasses, cooking ware and linens. We also looked for a place that had a stove/oven and microwave, so that was also a bonus since we cooked in. The Kuerig was a little tricky (had to put water in, warm it, restart it, then was able to brew the coffee - important to us coffee addicts!).
What you may want to know: correct - there is no WiFi or Cell Service (for our particular phone service); if you need anything, the folks next door at Don Hoel's Market have dry goods, freshly brewed coffee, and firewood. The cabin is NOT in Don Hoel's Cabins (we made that mistake upon our arrival) but just north of it (the drive is directly next door so look for the shingle that says 9452. It's tucked away which is great because 89A can get busy during certain times of the day/year. ) Some may need to know that the fireplace does not have a gas starter, so be sure you can build a fire (some of us city folks are spoiled with gas starters, but we had no problem starting one with kindling gathered from the property). Bring matches or a lighter because we didn't see one but were able to procure a book of matches from Don Hoel market. That's it!
We loved, loved, loved it! And we definitely would return! Thank you Meghan for a wonderful experience!
