Located on one of the most desirable streets in Moonridge, you'll also enjoy easy access to lots of great hiking, Alpine Zoo, golf course, and The Village. Close to National Forest hiking trails. This gorgeous and fully renovated cabin offers an open floor plan with lots of windows and doors to enjoy nature's environment. Nicely re-decorated chalet chic bedrooms with high quality beds, bedding, and furnishings.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1,800+ sq ft home with a living room, TV, dining table, bar seating, beautiful gas log fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - Downstairs first bedroom has a king bed, fireplace, smart TV, and deck access. Downstairs second bedroom has a king bed and smart TV. Entry level/upstairs third bedroom has a queen bed and smart TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - New Chef's kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a stove with oven, double-door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Entertain the family with a NEW shuffleboard table, smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast Wi-Fi, board games and card games. Relax near the gas/wood burning fireplace. Laundry room with stackable washer/dryer.
OUTDOORS - Back deck with the best views of the slopes and the Big Bear Valley, as well as a NEW hot tub, patio furniture, gas barbecue, and firepit to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

PARKING - 2 car driveway.

Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 6 people. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - over occupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
Security deposit: $200
Pet fee $75 per pet (2 small dogs only-ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS over 10 lbs)
*If a larger dog is brought the $200 deposit will be forfeited

Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Wash all dishes and put them away.
Per City/County ordinance, garbage must be taken by the guest to one of the locations listed on your confirmation.

The ski chalet was really nicely designed, comfortable and it was clear the owners put alot of thought and consideration into making it a wonderful accomodation. The only reason I give it 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that the propane tank for the firepit ran out within 2 hours of using it. Otherwise a great time and I would definitely recommend it. Also the owners were very responsive over text and allowed us to extend our stay by 1 hour.

Perfect Cabin!

We stayed at this property over the holidays and were very impressed with how nice it was. We all had comfortable accommodations, the kitchen was very nice and modern, the living room area was very cozy. 5 - Excellent: Loved this place!

The decor, view, deck, fire pits, jacuzzi and fireplaces really gave this place a wow factor. This large kitchen allowed several of us to be in there working at the same time. The record player and shuffle board game were nice surprises and we used both! We ended up staying in the cabin more than we ever have on this trip simply because if was such a great environment for the 6 of us to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this updated cabin

We loved out stay. We had 5 adults and an infant and found plenty of room to be comfortable. I wish I knew about the hot tub - that was not communicated well. The check in and check out process went seamless. The host really thought of everything! We would go back and stay there again!

Gorgeous, Cozy Cabin

We had a wonderful stay in Big Bear at the Ski View Chalet. The pictures almost don't even do the home justice as it's been remodeled and so thoughtfully decorated/designed. The kitchen is enormous, with everything you could need. All the bedrooms were comfortable and we had so much space between downstairs and upstairs. The view of Bear Mountain was incredible! This home is the perfect location in a beautiful, quiet area of upper Moonridge- a very quick drive to both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. The entire rental process was seamless and so easy - we can't recommend this cabin and rental company enough!

Overall, very pretty cabin. Decent location and good views. Nicely decorated but not well equipped. Not enough toilet paper was supplied for 5 people staying for 1 week and the downstairs shower pours water onto the floor anytime you try to shower in it. After those few fixes this would be a five star cabin for big bear lake.

Change of scenery

Cool Cabins was responsive and helpful. The home itself is an older home recently redone for rental use; it looks modern and nice, but is 3/4 completed using only the cheapest of materials and amenities. (example, no washer/dryer or hanging rod in coat closet to hang coats, towels of the lowest quality- think below 24 hour fitness), all for premium price. We had a great time, but felt the price did not meet the value.

Big bear

House was not cleaned properly. We found socks and clothes under the sofa, dirty floor and the sofa had a hole in it. Cover came right off and it was full of stuff and crumbs between the cushions. The sheets felt as if they weren’t washed from last guests. House was too over priced for what it offered. Walking up 3 flights of stairs to get to front door was not highlighted enough.
