This beautiful architects designed apartment, just completely renovated, is situated in the principal building of piazza S. Maria in Trastevere. It has a 5,50 meters paneled ceilings in the living room and in all the bedrooms. it has 1 big living and dining room, 2 double bedrooms (one with extra sleeping mezzanine) 1 twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms (1 with shower and 1 with bathtub), a fully equipped kitchen and a 40 sq meters terrace.

Tourist tax in Rome amounts Euro 3,50 per person per night (with a maximum of 10 nights). Children up to 10 years of age are exempted. The tourist tax is to be paid in cash upon arrival.
Passports or Id copies of all guests will be asked upon arrival.
There is an extra fare for the check in after 10pm, it's 30 Euros paid cash at your arrival.If the check in will be later than 11 pm there is an extra fare of 50 Euros.

Great time in Trastevere

My family of 5 adults had a fantastic time staying in this VRBO in Trastevere. The location literally can’t be beat and the unit came as advertised. The owner and her team were awesome to work with and we will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Rome.

Wonderful apartment, fabulous location

Spacious apartment, with the benefit of a large outdoor terrace accessed from the large kitchen. Lovely views over the piazza with fountain and Santa Maria Basilica, which is stunning. Close to bars, restaurants and large selection of shops. The area can be noisy but the window shutters help, if you choose to stay over a piazza, this is to be expected. Well equipped and comfortable for groups of friends or a large family. Wonderful high ceilings and comfortable furniture. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, including airport transportation.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great but the apartment itself looks better in the pictures. Pros: good location for lively nightlife, tons of restaurants, spacious apartment, good AC, functional bathrooms & appliances, lots of guide books, good size fridge & lots of plates & cutlery, small soap & shampoo & extra toilet paper provided Cons: noisy (two bedrooms & living room overlook the square) late into the night & garbage trucks & deliveries start early - earplugs are essential, looks better in the pictures - lots of little things are broken, no loft, living room couch is old & uncomfortable, all plants dead on the terrace

Trastavere stay

The apartment is off a piazza in Trastavere, Rome. where nightlife is prominent and can make for a noisy stay at night. We brought a little noise maker that we had from a previous cruise, but for some reason it stopped working. Fans helped drown out the noise most nights and keep it cooler. The weather was hot and muggy, but it was August in Rome - so it is expected. We probably would have used the outdoor area more if it had been cooler (but it was perfect for early morning breakfast). Perfect location to walk to most sites and restaurants and enjoy the nightlife. We had no issues with safety. Overall, it was a great location and was a beautiful stay.

Love the area!

Communication with the apt manager/ owner was a bit difficult. Had them organize a driver for our group- picking up from the train station when we arrived- we did not all fit- the driver had the wrong number of people from the apt perons- this manager did not respond when I tried to confirm prior to our arrival. Then, I still owed the entire amount to the driver (50 euro) when the rest of our group paid half the amount (21 euro) when using a taxi to deliver them to the apt. This was the only disappointing part of our stay here. Make sure you bring ear plugs! very noisy at night.

Great Place, but watch the terrace

Management was excellent. Place was amazing. Views were awesome. Everything was great - except that we got stuff stolen by leaving the terrace gate unlocked. Neighbors can easily jump on the terrace, and someone was in our place while we were gone and went through our stuff. Luckily we didn't have much to take other than some cash, but be aware of locking the terrace gate when you leave!

Excellent place in an awesome neighborhood

My wife and I and our dog stayed here with my mother, father and sister who were visiting us from the States. It was a very comfortable accommodation with all the touches. The location was great, we're big fans of eclectic neighborhoods with great local eats and cute boutiques. One night we brought local pizza back and ate it together on the awesome terrace. It was maybe our favorite meal! The hosts were very flexible and accommodating to our request for a late check-out. One thing to be aware of: the property overlooks a piazza. There was A LOT of people noise throughout the entire night, so maybe download a nice white noise app and bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper. That being said, we would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, roomy, clean with nice outdoor veranda

Spent a wonderful 3 weeks in this apartment in heart of Trastevere in Rome. Very comfortably accommodates 6 persons, and has pull-out bedding for another 3 or 4 (which we used for a few days). A great location for people watching! While the piazza is very active and a bit noisy at night, we had no problem sleeping when closing the shutters to reduce the noise. Marzia and Romana were very helpful in arranging transportation from airport and responsive in handling any needs or questions we had.

Simply Wonderful

Thank you to Marzia and her team for our family's wonderful stay in March. There was plenty of space for our large party and all the necessities were provided. The apartment was exactly as described - maybe better. The piazza views and terrace are particularly lovely. Excellent quality everything - sheets, towels, etc. This was the best vacation rental experience we've ever had and we've rented many places over the years. Some may find the piazza noisy but we all loved how lively it felt. The baby and our young child had no trouble sleeping through it. Marzia and her team are great communicators and helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport with no hiccups and assisted in communicating with the couriers when our lost luggage was delivered. We will miss waking up to breakfast on the terrace, opening the shutters to our windows on the piazza in the mornings, coming back to rest in the afternoons while still feeling like we are "doing something" in Rome because the location is so great for people watching in front of the Basilica. We will miss this apartment, our "home" in Rome. Hope we can return some day soon. Thanks again!

Gas outage - no hot water, no cooking, no amount of refund

There were 9 of us traveling including my 85 year old mother with wheelchair. Gas went out 2 days after arriving. No showers that night after a long hot day. Owner tried to fix and said back next day to try with help. We had hoped for next day but couldn’t fix. Daughter had to fly home 8 hour flight no shower. The next day owner offered a just vacant apartment at on the top floor of building. She could see mom with wheelchair. We continued on our travels through Italy and when I got home I told her some type of monetary refund was appropriate. She said no, it was too late to ask and she did offer the other apartment. (Offered after 48 hours of no gas, appears only because it had become vacant). I explained to her we were continuing with our trip and trying to enjoy the moments and decided we would deal with some kind of refund request when we got home and had time and better communication access. When we came back through Rome we stayed in the Monti area which was lovely . We would certainly not stay here again in any case. I knew it was very touristy but didn’t quite realize just how much. Noisy as well. As far as no gas goes she did try to fix it but could not. I think you can’t charge full price and should offer some kind of refund as we were paying for an apartment With gas, hot water and cooking ability.

Perfect place for family of seven, right in the middle of Trastevere.

We rented the apt for four days for a family of 7. We all slept very comfortable. If you like to wake up in the morning and be in the middle of the action this is your place. Restaurant and stores are walking distance. Marzia the owner is very accessible she will answer your questions immediately. The terrace was perfect to end the day with a bottle of wine. It is in the third floor so pack lightly or bring your kids so they can help with the bags. Marzia also arranged the pick up at the airport for an extra cost but is well worth it. We had an issue with the hot water and it was resolved rapidly. The area is very safe, but its in the plaza where there are still youngsters hanging out if you are a light sleeper and in sleeping in the larger rooms you might hear the people hacing a good time. We only heard them once, after that we where the ones hanging out at the plaza with our bottle of wine. We definitely recommend this place. Thank you again Marzia

Spacious apartment with gorgeous design... the perfect stay

We were traveling with another couple and loved the apartment (which could have fit all five of our combined kids as well). It's great apartment to share, beautiful details inside, including impossibly high ceilings. Big sunny terrace to enjoy coffee in the morning and aperitivi in the afternoon. Absolutely no issues booking or getting keys. They also offer lots of information, restaurant and other logistical information, etc. The only negative to note is that the apartment faces the piazza, so it is very LOUD almost all night long. Church bells, too, every fifteen minutes, which we grew to find charming.

We spent a wonderful few days here -we hadn't realised when we booked what a fantastic location this is. Thanks to Peppe and Marzia for their help with travel info and looking after our luggage. El apartamento es una maravilla en pleno corazón de Trastevere. Hemos estado 6 adultos durante 3 días. Está muy bien situado, en plena plaza de Santa Maria in Trastevere. Perfecto para disfrutar del barrio e ideal punto de partida para recorrer la ciudad a pie. Distribución y servicios de acuerdo a la descripción del anuncio. Muy espacioso, con techos de 5 metros de altura y muy bien decorado. Estaba todo muy limpio y dispone de todo lo necesario para unos días de turismo. La terraza...una maravilla en la que poder disfrutar del desayuno o un merecido descanso tras recorrer la ciudad. Silencioso por la noche, hemos podido descansar muy bien a pesar de que el apartamento se sitúa cerca de restaurantes, bares y zona de ambiente de Trastevere. Supermercados y acceso al transporte público a 400 metros. Hemos recibido un trato estupendo por parte de Marzia durante nuestra estancia facilitándonos todo tipo de información previa por e-mail, incluso organizándonos el traslado del aeropuerto al apartamento. Totalmente recomendable!!

Lovely apartment in a great, lively neighbourhood.

Thanks to Marzia and Claudio for a great stay at their apartment. There were 7 people in our group and we had lots of space. We used the large terrace every day of our time in Rome, rain or shine. The apartment is located in a lively neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, vendors , markets and shops. There was entertainment in the piazza every night. Claudio even made arrangements for our transport to the airport and Marzia recommended the amazing Susanna for a couple of private tours.

Beautiful apartment and interesting location

Our stay in the apartement was excellent. All the rooms look as on the pictures. The view from the living room down to the piazza with the church, the fountain, the restaurants and the lively surroundings is really amazing! Trastevere as it is! It may be quite noisy at night, because of the absolute central location. The apartment is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable with new matrasses. The bathrooms are both very modern and fine. We want to recommend the apartement and maybe we will come back once again. Marzia is very helpfull, she always responded very, very quick. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful apartment! A family of 7 women....grandma, mom's and two teen girls. Beds were comfy, A/C in each room worked well. Plenty of room for all. The terrace was great in the evening to sit around and sip wine and play some games. After touring Rome all day it was a pleasure to be able to go back to the Piazza area and freshen up then head out to a local cafe for dinner. Didn't have to go far at all. Every night we could sit at the cafe's and watch the activity. The restaurant downstairs has great home-made pasta. The pizza shop across from the entrance door has good pizza by the slice (pound) and is fresh. Marzia is attentive and so kind. Definitely would stay in her apartments again. Thank you Marzia for all your help and assistance.

Comfortable, Roomy, Sparce......

At first, we were very disappointed. The building was covered by scaffolding so the pictures you see of a bright space were dark and a bit dreary. After awhile, because of the intense hot weather, we began to appreciate the space and our ability to have privacy. The location was amazing. Most of the restaurants in the area were wonderful Yes, I would recommend this apartment and Marzia was very, very cooperative.
