Welcome to the Little Barn at Oostema Farmstead
Tucked away on our scenic 117-acre Wagyu cattle farm, the Little Barn offers a peaceful, private escape designed for adults craving rest, space, and simplicity. If you love the idea of nature but not the hassle of traditional camping, this cozy, rustic retreat is the perfect fit, solid walls, a warm roof, and just the right amount of comfort.

Inside the Barn
Step into your own quiet hideaway. The barn features a comfy queen bed, a wall heater to keep things toasty, a small fridge for your snacks, and a countertop with bar stools. A pitcher of fresh water is provided for convenience. For a true glamping experience, please bring your own bedding and towels, or we’ll happily provide them for a $15 fee.

Your Private Outdoor Setup
Enjoy evenings by your personal fire pit and picnic table under the stars. You’ll have access to:
• A clean, portable toilets
• Outdoor hot shower and sink
• Easy parking steps from the door
• Wide-open space to roam, bike, or just breathe
This is a stay where you can truly unwind, no noisy crowds, no shared walls, just open skies and quiet farmland.

Farm Store & Hot Tub
During your stay, visit our small farm store for eggs, bacon, sausage, and premium Wagyu beef. Want to soak after a day of relaxing or exploring? Reserve a time to enjoy our private, guest-only hot tub, open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM.

The Farmstead Experience
While the barn is private, the farm is a living, working space with gardens, grazing cattle, and the occasional friendly wave from other guests on the property We also have a full serviced campground and a Little Farmhouse.
We’re close enough to town for a quick trip to Lynden or Bellingham, yet far enough for real quiet, no city sounds here.

Policies at a Glance
• Adults only (16+)
• One well-behaved dog under 50 lbs is welcome for a fee (please supervise, no barking and keep pets away from livestock, never left alone)
• Farm life is active but calm, we live on-site and are always nearby if you need anything
