The cabin is so pretty! The beds are so comfortable, u will most definitely sleep well at night. Fireplace made the nights cozy and the fur throws were great. Stayed 3 nights for husband's birthday. He really loved drinking coffee in the morning watching the deer in the backyard....speaking of deer.....there were sooooo many of them!!! Only issues were the dishwasher did not work, but i like to wash dishes so no biggie, cobwebs and the water pressure!! The bathrooms are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!! But all in all, we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend.

Family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a very cozy cabin in a very nice resort. My son really enjoyed the basketball court and arcade. There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding Ellijay and Blue Ridge area.

Beautiful cabin

We loved our stay in this cabin. It is quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood has great amenities. We had some cleanliness issues when we arrived but Mark handled it quickly with no issues. We would love to stay here again.

We had the best get away that we've had in quite some time!The cabin was beautiful (a few cobwebs, and blown light bulbs, but nothing that detracted from the experience). The linens were clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The resort property was great. We played put-put & swam at the Rec. Center, and the deer, oh my goodness! We got a small bag of wildlife feed and were able to toss it to the deer off the back deck. Having the peace and tranquility to pray and just be in God's creation each morning was exactly what we needed.The cabin is also very convenient to local attractions. We enjoyed climbing the 604 steps to the top of Amicalola Falls, picking apples at Mercier Orchards, and dining at The Roof Ellijay in historic downtown.

Property..hosts…location …all of it was magical! We loved our stay had gorgeous deer visit us daily…the cabin was decorated beautifully and they had a lit Christmas tree waiting for our arrival. I would definitely return.

Splendid Cabin

The cabin was comfy, warm, and inviting to the eye. The kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. I would highly recommend this cabin. My family has asked since our stay when are we going back. The hosts were easy to communicate with and did so rapidly with each response.

Great Time

One of the most relaxing vacations we’ve had. My wife and I along her sister and her husband went up to relax, and relax we did. The cabin and the resort were perfect. The game room was great. Unfortunately, due to rain, we weren’t able to take advantage of everything the resort had to offer. The town on Ellijay was really nice and we did get to one of the vineyards. We decided that we definitely want to come back to the area!

Commence Relaxation

We booked this beautiful cabin to escape our busy lives. As soon as you walk in it just feels so comforting. Everything you need is available. Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the back deck in the morning drinking our coffee and watching the deer walk through the yard. The linens are amazing. I absolutely love the pictures in the cabin (the sheep in the laundry room is my favorite). I have already told friends and family about it. We are ready to book again for this cabin. Bring your family, close friends or just go as a couple but this cabin is the top of my list.

Great location, nice cabin but needs some attention.

I have traveled to Blue Ridge/Ellijay area for over 30 years and have stayed in coosawattee several times. The location is great. Amenities are nice. It’s always quiet and guaranteed to see deer. The owner decorated the cabin nicely for Christmas and let us arrive an hour early. However, there were cobwebs everywhere! The air vent is gross. The appliances look like they fell off a truck. Beware of the two kitchen drawers they will fall on your feet. No tracks. The upstairs shower isn’t usable bc the water pressure is terrible. The oven mitts looked like they have never been washed. The driveway gravel needs work good thing we had a rental because the potholes made it a challenge to get up. The beds are comfy and the cabin is beautiful but needs better cleaning. Never have I seen so many spiders and I’ve been in this area a lot. We tried to do a load of laundry but the dryer would not start.

Clean, but wouldn’t stay again

The cabin was clean and as advertised. The location of the cabin was far from the front gate of the resort. We had hoped our kids could go to the pool during their downtime from a local baseball tournament, but there was no information on how to do that at the cabin. We never saw a pool while there because the resort is massive. The cabin by itself was less than ideal to entertain two 11 year olds as there wasn’t much to do. The main reason we would not stay there again is there was a camera hidden in the kitchen area that appeared to be videoing us. We saw the comment about the Ring doorbell video, but we did not consent to being videoed in the cabin. Given we had paid a fee for an insurance policy on our stay in the event we did any damage, videoing us in the cabin without our consent is not right. Don’t recommend unless you are comfortable with being videoed without consent, and who knows if they have other ones in the cabin.

Thank You, Kathy. We make every effort to be completely accurate in our advertising. The cabin was specifically chosen to not be at any gate entrance for privacy and to be a part of the natural beauty of the area and away from entrance traffic. We have several pools to choose from during any stay and the information provided at check-in states to contact the Property Manager for instructions. We have provided many games for both indoor and outdoor activities for families of all ages. We do not have any indoor cameras. What you did see in the kitchen was a motion detector only from a previous owner that is not hooked up and is in the process of removal. The main control was removed at the time of purchase. It is not legal to video anyone and we would never do so. We did grant your family early access to the property as you requested as you were in the area for your children's baseball tournament. I am sorry that you were mistaken about what you thought a piece of equipment actually was. We hope you did well in the tournament!
