This cabin exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean, cozy, and well maintained. One of the highlights was seeing deer just a few feet from the cabin and enjoying the peaceful mountain scenery. The drive through the forest alone is worth the trip. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in October and found the property to be excellent for a couple and we’re considering booking another time for us and our two kids. The place is plenty big enough for a family of four but would be cramped with more than that. Diana was an excellent host and went the extra mile with communication and making us feel at home.The property itself is well cared-for and more than adequately stocked with kitchenware and toiletry amenities. The golf course on which it sits is peaceful and private enough. The golfers at hole 11 below the property were infrequent and didn’t bother us at all. The only negative aspect of the property (at least during the fall) was the dropping of acorns and walnuts on the roof. This did not diminish our enjoyment but some might find it bothersome if you’re looking for an absence of noise. The PLUS side to the acorns is that there was an abundance of deer in the morning and evening!

The cabin and hosts were wonderful. We loved the area but, unfortunately we had a family emergency and didn’t get to complete our stay. Hopefully, someday we can return and would love to rent the very same cabin.

Couples Getaway

This property is perfect for a couples getaway. The host is very responsive and this cabin is the cleanest, most well-stocked of any we have rented. The screened porch and paved roads are a big plus. Definitely recommend this cabin.

Cabin on 11th whitepath

Our host was so accommodating and the cabin was beautiful also well stocked. We went to The Top Roof to eat and the fighting town tavern in blue ridge our husbands golf 2 days, we all enjoyed our stay.

I cannot say enough good things about this property or the hosts. The cabin is exceptionally clean. It is so perfect for a couple to enjoy the peace and serenity of the mountains and Whitepath golf course. The owners have attended to every tiny detail to make your stay here perfect. If you forgot to bring it, let me assure you, they have it here…from extra toiletries, food and drinks to walking sticks and a picnic basket! We were offered the option to stay an extra day and we gladly accepted. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and I can honestly say none of them have been as expertly appointed as this one. Without a doubt, we will be back! Diana is absolutely wonderful. She is so kind and generous and our trip could not have been any better. Watching the deer every morning and evening is just an added bonus to this lovely cabin!
