Thank you all for staying with us!! It was awesome having you on the farm and at the cabin! We would love to have you back!! Thank you for the kind words!!!
Very beautiful place, lovely farm setting and loved seeing the cows and horses! Loved we could fish as well we will be back again!! Very easy to get ahold of the host they also got a farm store you will need to check out for all your meats and needs! They went above and beyond our expectations!
Beautiful setting with wraparound porch for sunrise and sunset views. Very peaceful. Welcoming and accommodating hosts. Will definitely return in the future.
Amazing time away from reality. Such a beautiful quiet little spot. Gravel drive is rough but to be expected on a working farm. Our favorite part was feeding and loving on splash and precious (horses). Highly highly recommend this little getaway.
We enjoyed a long weekend in this secluded, spacious and nicely decorated cabin. There is a full kitchen to make your own meals and the working gas grill was greatly appreciated. You k ow those can be a gamble. We made good use of the wraparound porch to eat meals, look at the stars and talk with the cows. Yes, the cows may stroll through the yard! The host is welcoming and took us to feed the horses. The driveway is steep but you will make it if you take your time. This is a wonderful getaway!!!
Beautiful, clean cabin. On a working farm, but private up on a hill. Driveway is a bit rough, but not a problem.

Beautiful setting, very peaceful and quiet which is what we were looking for. Had everything we needed and our dog enjoyed watching cows and turkeys. Owner was very responsive if we needed anything.

Beautiful Cabin and Farm
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and farm. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It is placed on the back of the farm and offered the peace and quiet we were looking for. The host were very responsive, provided great info on the property, and allowed us walk the farm. Next time in the area, we would gladly stay again and recommend to our friends.
This place was absolutely wonderful. The horses were so sweet, the bed was SOOO comfy, the cabin was beautiful. We caught a lot of fish and they were huge! The owner was super kind to us. This place is the perfect getaway from everyday life stresses. We highly recommend it!
The cabin is perfect in every way. The owner texted me before check in letting me know everything was ready, making sure I had the gate code and good directions to the cabin. The next day the owner found out I had an issue with my car trailer. He asked what do I need and what can he help with to fix it. I highly recommend staying here.
Just as described. Very peaceful. Host was excellent. Treated us like family. This is definitely a diamond. Wonderful friendly place
With great animals to boot!!!!!!!! We and our friends will be back to vacation at this place!!!!!

Fantastic place relax
This was the 🥈 time we stayed at this place. We have never vacationed at the same place twice before, but we had to come back to the Highview Farms Cabin. This place is fantastic. So completely comfortable! This year was even better than last year. I love the recliner! There was even more cooking utensils and pots than before. Just about anything that you could need. We gifted the cabin with a new set of white china plates, pasta bowls, and dessert plates when we left. The hosts are absolutely wonderful, and have opened a small produce and meat store just down the road. So convenient!Really great place to stay.

Very nice cabin
Nice modern cabin at the top of a hill. Your drive up the road to the cabin will be adventurous to say the least. Wife at first would not continue and I had to jump in the drivers seat. It's really not that bad. Hope it doesn't rain. No central A/C. Only one window A/C in the bedroom upstairs. Surprisingly, it does cool the house, but it is very loud. Literature inside cabin said city or municipal water and safe to drink, but it is not piped direct from the city to the cabin. It appears the owner fills up a large plastic vat of city water out of his home tap and transports it up there. Then uses an RV pump or such to pump it in the house? We opted not to drink the water as in our opinion it had a strange smell. It may be safe, but we drank bottled water. No shower. Only a bath when we were there. However, if you like to take a bath, the wife said it was nice. Great backyard fire pit with plenty of wood. Overall, a good get-a-way.

Hi Mark, we passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: Our goal is to ensure that our guests have a comfortable stay with us and provide elevated standards of hospitality. Thank you for sharing your positive insight on the fire pit! We were surprised to read your review as you were extremely complimentary of our cabin in our conversation with you.
- We aim for transparency and our listing and photos are accurately advertised. In our listing description, it is stated that we offer a window unit air conditioning system. In addition, the listing originally mentioned only a bathtub, but we've added a shower to it in the past few weeks.
- The water in our house is treated municipal water, and we have a 55 PSI water pump. We can confirm that there is no odor from the water.
- The road is a gravel farm road leading to the mountain cabin on a high hill. Guests can rest assured as you mentioned, that the road is not difficult to navigate or challenging.
- We wish you had reached out to us during your stay if you had any questions or concerns. We would have done our very best to address any issues you had.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.
