**Sea Pines Rules and Regulations**
-Sea Pines Plantation prohibits all trailers, pop-up campers, motorcycles (including three wheelers), large-lifted pickup trucks, extended vans, vans with company signage (visitors in company cars will not be allowed in), work vans, golf carts, and RVs. Boats (prior permission needed), kayaks & surf boards (must be on top of car, no trailer), and large family vans. The only exception would be handicap accessible vans. -Parking along roadsides and off driveways is prohibited -Beach Club parking is not available, the Trolley system must be used to access the beach club. Trolley system does not allow passengers to carry large items such as wagons, chairs or coolers -Vehicle Passes are limited to number of cars able to fit in each driveway, Passes are required to reenter Sea Pines when on a bike, in some cabs, and using Lyft. Try to carry your passes with you when you leave for reentry to avoid any difficult situations at the gate. Bikes can reenter without pass if they take picture of the daily door code posted when they exit. -All animals in the plantation must be on a leash at all times -Do not disturb the wildlife. Wild Animals live in Sea Pines, such as alligators and coyotes. Please be aware of this and do not interact with the wildlife. -Beach parking is prohibited on all roads in Sea Pines. A complimentary beach shuttle service, direct from a designated parking lot to The Sea Pines Beach Club is available for Sea Pines weekly rental guests. *Must have Short Term Weekly vehicle pass issued by Sea Pines CSA.

The condo was very clean, very nice. It’s in an excellent Seapines location. We were able to view wildlife from the deck.The newly renovated bathrooms are so nice. The kitchen is very well appointed

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The bathroom updates are beautiful and the location is good. For those considering staying here, the condo is about half a mile to Harbortown and about 3 miles to the beach access. Parking is limited at the beach access, so get there early or plan to bike ride.

Thank you for the kind review Natalie! The beach parking is typically only for residents of Sea Pines but this year they were letting guests park to avoid congestion in the trolly. Typically guests would need to use the troll for beach access or ride a bike like you suggested
This is an immaculate villa with ample space including a fancy Master Bathroom. It's also in a great location as it easy to get to Harbor Town, a short walk to a few restaurants, the best Bike Rental Place (Peddling Pelicans), and a short bike ride to the Beach. Loved using the tennis courts, too.
Clean, nice condo. Close to Harbor Town. Pool was quiet when we went and close. There’s a coffee pot but no coffee- so don’t forget coffee and filters!

Great unit but pool was closed 1/2 our trip and all chairs at pool were locked up
Loved the location and enjoyed it. Wish we would have been told about pool closing for a couple of days, no pool chairs being available even when pool was open. Otherwise we really enjoyed it and would stay again!

A few girlfriends and I visited this area for golf. The property was what we expected. The washer in the unit was not working but the property management made me aware of that right away. They offered laundry service which we did use and had no other issues/problems.

The location of the property was very good, only 8 minutes by bike to the beach, 5 minutes by car to Harbour Town and 3 minutes walk to Sea Pine Center. We visited HHI in October, it was very quiet and the weather was excellent to play tennis or chill at the pool. We could also watch a little alligator every day at the pond just outside our balcony, what the kids loved! The only thing, that would need improvement are the Moskito nets at the doors of the balcony, we had problems closing them… and maybe some new frying pans to have some eggs in the morning! Overall we had great time in the apartment and we loved Hilton Head Island!

Wonderful location for riding our bikes, playing pickle ball, going to a movie, walking to restaurants, exploring Harbor Town and reading on the rocking chair "decks".The condo is very nice and spacious, has a great view of the alligator pond. Not impressed with housekeeping and maintenance - the dining room triple windows were filthy on the inside with the impressions of dream catchers remaining on two windows, the 2 sliding glass doors had so much debris in the tracks that we could barely open either one, the deck was totally covered with pine needles, leaves and small branches upon arrival, the light provided by table lamps was certainly inadequate, the kitchen is very tired and disorganized,the pots and pans are old and some not usable, the kitchen sink had no drain basket to catch food, and we found blood stains on two bed linen items.The location and clean, comfortable home decor made it worth staying for our 4-week vacation, so we washed windows, cleaned out the door tracks, kept the deck swept, had light bulbs changed and a sink basket installed by the rental agency.

This condo is conveniently located on Lighthouse Drive, an easy walk or bike ride to Harbour Town and the Sea Pines Center. Tennis courts, one marked for pickleball, to which the condo has access, are at the end of the parking lot. Unfortunately, they are reserved by a tennis camp for most of the day M-F. The big problem with this unit was the mildewy smell. The minute we walked in we were assailed with a strong odor. We called the property managers and they were very responsive. Over several days they tried multiple things, (air purifier, moisture removers, dehumidifier) to eliminate the smell, but were unsuccessful. My asthma really acted up. We ended up leaving the sliding doors to the terrace open at all times when we were home. We stayed for 3 weeks, so we probably used more of the apartment than the average visitor. The unit is just like it appears in the pictures on the listing. It was clean with lots of towels. The kitchen is small and outdated, but adequately supplied with dinnerware, glassware, cookware. No K-cup coffee maker! The beds were comfortable, especially the king in the master suite. There was plenty of bureau and closet space for clothes. The master bathroom was very nice, with a huge shower. The shower head needs to be updated. The second bedroom bathroom was less appealing. The plumbing was ancient, the toilet seat needed replacing, and the tub was very uninviting. The shower was ok, but also needed a better shower head.

This was a flawless experience for our short vacation. The location was great, the condo/villa was very clean, beautifully decorated and very well furnished. The property was perfect; the location was convenient, parking was easy, and the unit had everything we needed. It even had beach chairs, even though the listing did not mention. Having a code instead of keys made it much easier for everyone to come and go without keeping up with keys. We would stay here again.

Communication is key
I’ll start with the positive: great location, nice and clean unit. Great decorating, comfy beds. A responsive and timely property management company.
The not-so-great: We has issues with the AC, which the property management company worked with us promptly to fix. However, it was still constantly hot in the unit. I understand it is mid-July, but I live in SC and we certainly don’t have the same issues keeping our home cool as this unit had. Maybe time for an upgrade?
The negative: No ceiling fans, despite being included in the listing. Also, I’ve never had a rental company tell me that I “may or may not be able to check in at 4pm, but they’ll let me know when I can check in.”
Final thought: I gave this unit 4 stars purely because I think this experience was “made” by responsiveness and refund provided by the management company. They worked hard to remedy the situation for us. The unit itself was fine, but I don’t believe we would stay there again.

Thank you for the review Chelsea and for the items you brought up. Weakness in AC is really shown during these 100 degree days. Thank you for your patience as we attempted to fix it. The diagnostics gathered are in front of the owner for approval to be upgraded as you mentioned. We fixed the ceiling fan amenity issue. This slipped by us and we apologize for the inconsistency there. Lastly, the 4pm check in time is only in effect this summer. Due to COVID 19 requirements, cleaning services have been drastically slowed down. We cannot promise 4pm check in for everyone like we have been able to in the past.
We are very happy to hear you were happy with the customer service all together. Please consider coming back to Beachside Getaway in a future stay!
Remodeling had recently been done. Leftover boxes of tile in dining area. New carpet with fibers still not vacuumed enough, small pieces in hallway, kitchen sink drain area filthy, swiffered floors & got 2 piles of dirt. Master bed sunk in middle & could fold pillows in thirds.
