Incredible property in a beautiful location

It is a beautiful location to stay and the property was incredibly clean and was the perfect home away from home. It was so well set up and organised - we were able to cook instead of getting take away every evening. Daniel was a fantastic host and we would 100% stay here again!

From the minute we arrived it was instant relaxation. The house was clean and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and box of chocolates. Surroundings were stunning. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay in Healesville !

Daniel was a wonderful host. The property was very clean and freshly renovated. Close to everything we needed. A bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival was a lovely touch. Will definitely stay again.

Peaceful Cottage

A lovely place, home from home. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was made available from a well stocked log fire, heated bathroom flooring, electric blankets, tea, coffee, kitchen condiments and many tv channels to watch movies, plus board games for us all. Would reccommend to friends and certainly hope to visit again.

Loved our stay at Daniels place. We wanted somewhere secluded in nature but close enough to shops and restaurants that we didn't have to cook all the time, somewhere dog and toddler friendly, and this place ticks all the boxes. The house is like an upgraded comfortble log cabin on a pretty bush block at the end of a quite road. Lots of thought has gone into making a stay pleasant and homey. Honestly probably the most well equiped place we have stayed in for a while, there wasn't anything we needed other than food.The bed and couch were comfy, heated floors in the bathroom and a lovely fireplace (plus split system and room heaters) Easy check in and good communication 100% would stay again. Thanks Daniel.

Daniel paid incredible attention to detail, creating a space that genuinely felt like a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay and were reluctant to leave. From a fully equipped kitchen perfect for family meals to the joy of kids roasting marshmallows outdoors, everything was thoughtfully provided. Even when the temperature dropped to 9 degrees, the cabin remained cozy and warm—especially in the bedroom. We wholeheartedly recommend this retreat to families and couples seeking a peaceful, comfortable escape in the forest. Ps thank you for the thoughtful welcome gift - a local bottle of wine and box of chocolate.

Wonderful getaway for exploring or retreat

An idyllic bushland cottage, with kookaburras and wallabies for company. From the beginning of our booking, communication was clear, and the description and photos of the property were promising - and lived up to their promises. Daniel, our host, was professional, friendly, helpful, and welcomed us by leaving a lovely local wine and some chocolates upon our arrival. The cottage is beautifully tasteful; spacious, clean, newly renovated and very well equipped, with full sized cooking facilities (allowing us to prepare our own meals), fridge and plenty of linen and tea/coffee facilities. The games and entertainment for families was generous, the location absolutely stunning and an ideal getaway for our family. A great spot from which to venture to the snow and explore the surrounding areas, but it would equally be ideal for a quiet retreat in the bush, away from busyness. We would be thrilled to return and visit again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
