Cozy Cottage Family Getaway - 8 min drive from Bancroft

Welcome to your next 4 season cottage retreat. Little Bow Lake is a quaint lake that is perfect for families, couples, or older adults for a quiet relaxing getaway. 8 min south of Bancroft and just off HWY 28 makes it super easy to get to under 2hrs from most of the GTA. Bancroft has all the stores you need, great restaurants, Kawartha dairy ice cream, and its very own brewery. With 122 ft of water frontage; it gives you plenty of room for great swimming with a gradual walk-in entry or jump off the dock into deeper water. With no large boat traffic, this is perfect for a calm day on the lake with our kayaks, 5-seat fishing peddle boat, or stand-up paddle boards. Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds and a pullout trundle (3 beds in one room). There is also 1 extra Queen-sized pull-out couch in the living room, allowing extra room for your comfort. Wifi included and 2 smart TVs with Prime/Netflix. An enclosed screened porch at the back of the cottage to enjoy the west-facing sunsets with bug-free enjoyment and a large welcoming deck at the front. A large Gazebo with hydro overlooking the water for perfect relaxing views of the lake as well as ample space on the dock to enjoy at your leisure. Provided are a ton of outdoor lawn games for family fun and toys for kids to play with. The lake is great for fishing with pike and largemouth bass. If you are looking for a winter getaway to explore the Great White North, we are close to many snowmobile trails, and opportunities to try something new like snowshoeing, ice fishing, or getting on the ice for a game of pond hockey. Fall brings beautiful foliage with no cottages across the lake to spoil the scenic views.

Bancroft is an amazing place with lots of great lakes, hiking trails, ATV/Snowmobile trails and the town has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

What makes this property unique

Western Sunsets are to die for!! With no cottage across the lake you get unobstructed views of the sunsets. The smaller lake makes it very private and safer for younger kids with no large boat traffic.
