Welcome to one of the best located homes on the island! Located just under half a mile (or 5 minute walk) from the beach, surfing, park, restaurants, shops and stores. Our modern property offers complete relaxation for the perfect Maui vacation. Best of all we have A/C in all bedrooms and areas of the home. Our home is family friendly catering to families who travel with babies and children. We offer family amenities such as a pack and play, high chair, umbrella stroller and bathtub with removable showerhead. Located in the heart of sunny South Kihei in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We are near the famous Kamaole white sand beaches and are a 5 minute walk to just about everything:
- Kalama Beach Park (playground, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and more)
- Over 23 restaurants, coffee shops, and bars
- Shops, boutiques, open air markets
- Farmers Market and Grocery store
- The Cove Beach Park (paddle boarding and beginner surfing)
- Kamaole Beach Park 1, 2, 3
Quick Drive (10-15 minutes):
- Wailea

Simply walk to the bottom of street and you're in the heart of Kihei! Kalama Beach is located at the end of the road where you will find Kalama Park and "The Cove", the best surf spot on the south side of the island! Take surfing lessons or try stand up paddle boarding. Turn left and walk beyond Cove Park and you find Charley Young beach which is part of the famous Kamaole beaches. Turn right and you will find Kalama Village, the place for everthing in Kihei. Kihei's Kalama Village offer unique shopping and dining experiences with great places to eat and over 40 vendors and boutiques!
In the morning, walk to the end of the street for breakfast and coffee at the best breakfast spot in Kihei, Kihei Cafe. Enjoy the gorgeous sunsets from your lanai at the house or at the beach from The Cove and Kalama park.

- The second bedroom has queen size bed, A/C and ceiling fan
- The third bedroom has two beds: one full size bed and one twin bed, perfect for families with children. Also has A/C and ceiling fan.
- New large sectional couch (not a pull out/sleeper)
- Washer and dryer
- Desk/Dedicated workspace

The best part of this home is the 700 sq ft covered private lanai over looking the private, fenced backyard. Enjoy the tropical outdoor living area for soaking up the sun, reading a book in the shade, sipping your morning coffee, connecting with family and friends, grilling, or relaxing. The space features:

- A gas BBQ for grilling
- A 6 person dining table to enjoy meals outside

5-star luxury Tuft and Needle mattresses featuring pressure relief, support and cool sleeping technologies were purchased for each bedroom. We provide high quality linens and pillows to assures a good night’s sleep in a quiet neighborhood.
FOR THE BEACH
Walk out on the Lanai and look to your far right and you will see the beach items available for use. We are a 5 minute walk to Kalama Park and "The Cove", the best surf spot on the south side of the island! Beach gear includes:
-Tommy Bahama reclining beach chairs and umbrella
- A stand up paddle board and a surf board
- Beach cooler
- Some snorkel gear (not guaranteed as sometimes it goes missing...)
- Beach towels: large, thin Turkish beach towels are provided for guest use. These are great for the beach because they are large but thin so they don’t take up space in your beach bag and they dry quickly.

There is an Ohana (another private, detached unit) on the property. A separate living dwelling is very typical in Hawaii. The Ohana is completely separated and private. The ohana and main house are separated by a fence so both units have completely private backyards and grills. The laundry is the only thing that is shared. The laundry is located outside and around the back of the property.

RECYCLING: We strongly believe in and encourage recycling. HOWEVER: If you recycle please take all your recycling to Kihei Recycling and Redemption Center located at Welakahao Rd and Piilani Hwy at the end of your stay. This is located about a 3 minute drive from our house. The County of Maui does not pick up recycling and we are not always available to clean up recycling after the guests leave. So again... if you do recycle... PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE RECYCLING AT THE HOUSE.
PARTIES: No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur.

Originally from Vancouver, BC Canada, we decided to follow our dream of one day living in Maui. We married in Oahu in November 2014 and moved to Maui in August 2015. We love everything about this island and have never looked back!
Why they chose this property
Kihei is situated on the South side of the island and is known as one of the sunniest and driest areas on Maui. We purchased this property because of the central location. We love that our home close to everything Kihei has to offer yet is just far enough away to feel peaceful and quiet. When we bought the property is was in need of a complete remodel. We were up for the challenge and are so happy with how it turned out!
What makes this property unique
Our Home is renovated and modern. We chose more modern furnishings compared to the more traditional, tropical style furnishings typically seen in Hawaii. We invested extra money into new mattresses so we can provide our guests with a comfortable sleep, just like you would get in your own home. Our favorite thing about our home is the large lanai. We love spending mornings and evenings outside on the lanai enjoying the sunrise or sunset, dinners, coffee in the morning or just lounging with a book on the hammock. We furnished it with an outdoor living area as well as an an outdoor dining table to seat 6 guests so you can enjoy meals outside.
