The space was well appointed with everything you could need. The cabin was a great size with 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms being the perfect size for our group of 2 couples and 1 child. The location is tucked into the woods near a lake and it was very cozy to be outside with a fire or go for a walk in the woods. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet getaway, especially in the fall!

This house is very cute and comfortable, it had everything we needed including paper towels, toilet paper, dish and hand soap. We enjoyed a bonfire with s’mores. The view of the lake from the yard is great with a cup of coffee in the morning. The only complaint would be the ants in the home.

Thank you for the generous review. We're happy you enjoyed your stay. Ants are sometimes an issue, we try to avoid the harsher chemicals, but we will see what else we may be able to do.

Very nicely decorated cabin feel. We were comfortable and the heat worked well during this snowy weekend. A little dusting is needed but overall clean. Comfortable beds and lots of nice touches throughout to make you feel at home.

From the owner: "Thank you for your kind review. We're so glad you enjoyed the cozy cabin feel. We also appreciate your note about the dusting. Our regular caretaker is away this month, so we have someone filling in, which makes us all the more grateful for the honest work and care that goes into preparing the cabin for each guest. Thanks again for your feedback and for spending your snowy weekend here."

We needed a place that allowed dogs for a weekend and where we could stay while we worked on our own cabin. We were pleasantly surprised by this cabin and the area that reminded me of the foothills of Kentucky and Tennessee. The cabin that felt like a home, was very clean and had everything we needed and more. All we really needed to bring with us was food, clothing, a pack and play and toys for our toddler grandson. The cabin is four seasons ready and has a beautiful view of the lake. We loved the comforting calls of the loons. We didn’t take advantage of the beautiful outdoors since it was a work weekend. It was also a drizzly, chilly, early spring weekend, but we were definitely comfortable and cozy when we were there.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Stayed three nights with two sisters and my dog for a birthday getaway. We enjoyed the property and location. It had everything we needed. We walked to the nearby beach a couple times, sat outside on the deck a lot, made a campfire in the firepit, and drove to Rose City for supermarket and dinner at Faull Inn. A good time was had by all.
