Perfect mountain retreat

I would give this property 100 stars if possible. It was the perfect retreat during a busy time. The drive up the mountain from the Sylva side is a bit tricky, but it is absolutely worth the drive. The owners are fabulous.

Home With A View

Luxury meets Comfort. This home had it all: Amazing Mountain Views, all the creatures comforts, peace, a porch worth at least two lingering cups of coffee, and comfortable beds. This won’t be our last time at this mountaintop sanctuary.

I have travel and booked with VRBO for years. I have never stayed in a home as well equipped as this property. Ever detail was perfect. Well maintained and perfectly stocked. The view was out of this world. I did not want to leave.

Beautiful vacation home!

We enjoyed every part of our vacation in the mountains. Your home is beautifully designed. Every detail has been thought of. The home was extremely clean and well stocked with all of the essentials. Our children enjoyed the variety of trails nearby and walking pathways on the property. We especially liked the Bear Paw Trail. Our family had the opportunity to end several of our days around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. The home was located close to Lake Glenville and Cashiers. We look forward to coming back to visiting here again in the future. Thank you for making our vacation so special!

A peaceful, mountaintop paradise

We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and this house and property was the best we’ve experienced. It was so cozy and truly felt like a home. Every detail was thoughtful and helpful. The linens were nice, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, we lacked nothing! The views were stunning, we loved the back porch and fireplaces. It was so charming to see the horses in the distance on the neighbors hill. We felt safe with the gated driveway and loved having the garage on cold nights. Make sure you step outside and look at the stars at night! We truly loved every minute and hope to come back again!

Amazing!

What more could you want? Location, views, privacy -- are just a few of the amazing attributes of this wonderful property and house. Both front and back (screened-in) porches provide wonderful views as does the firepit area. All are perfect for morning coffee or afternoon sippings. The house is spacious but cozy feeling. The kitchen/dining area provides an atmosphere perfect for entertaining. You will not want to come down off the top of the mountain, but if you do, there are plenty of local activities to participate in/see. This is definitely a place that will be on your "to-do-again" list!

Mountaintop paradise

Recently stayed at this property and enjoyed every second of our stay! The house is beautifully appointed with guest comfort in mind at every turn. The amenities were top notch and every item was in excellent working order and the property was very clean. The house is incredibly comfortable when you are inside, but why be inside when you can sit on the screened in porch and watch the mountain views change or sit on the front porch in a great rocking chair? Nice, flat lawn area at one end of the house for tossing a frisbee or football and wonderful trails all around the property if you want to take a stroll. Internet is slow but available and phone reception is spotty at best so make this stay a perfect time to unplug from social media! Highly recommend checking in when it is daylight as the road to this little slice of heaven is a bit twisty and winding - use the brick pillar as your landmark to turn in the driveway. Seriously, once you arrive you may never want to leave! Our thanks to the owners for such a wonderful property!
