About this property

Log house , teepee, 4 holiday trailers, room for 16+ guests.

1300 sq' Log house set in a campground setting on 7 acres with a creek and large fire pit with bench seating , hot tub with 2 outdoor showers and lots of walking trails, Qualicum beach is a 10 min drive, secondary access to Qualicum falls is a 5 min drive. The log home can sleep 6 and has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen , extra large couch in main area , a queen electric inflatable mattress can be set up In front of couch , two bathrooms . We have a genuine Teepee that is set up close to the house with three single beds for the outdoor experience! There are three holiday trailers set up close to the house for extra guests if needed . The 30’ has two slide outs with a king bed and a couch that folds down in main area ,sleeps 3 comfortably . The 27’ has a slide out with a queen , small double , kitchen table that folds down for a bed and fold down couch , sleeps 4-5 comfortably . The 28’ has a slide out with a queen and couch , sleeps 2-3. There is room for 16-18 guests, optional spaces to set up tents if need be depending on your group size.

A haven in the woods

Spacious and bright and quiet and private. We loved it. The log cabin is huge and perfect for gatherings. Walks on the property and large campers were great.

We loved our stay at Doug and Tracy’s property. So much attention to detail, seems they’ve thought of everything! Kids loved the hot tub, the creek area was sublime, the outdoor shower an exotic and wonderful experience! Kitchen well stocked with everything to cook good meals, everything in great shape (including newer pans that weren’t all damaged). Doug was communicative, responsive, and helpful. Everything was clean and inviting and we had a magical time!

We had a wonderful stay with 11 people no issues in getting us all a proper bed (although some us opted for the huge comfy couch anyways). Lots of space to chill, hang out and enjoy nature. Amenities were great, had no issues cooking all of our meals there for all of us. Wish we had stayed longer!

We really loved the cabin which is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with everything you may need. The property is very private, with awesome touches to make sure your stay is perfect. We Loved Our Stay

Thank you Doug and family...your cabin and the entire property was amazing! The kids loved exploring everything outside - the creek was a magical and great place to cool down, the tree house which had a great view of everything and lots of fun swings, the cool teepee, and the firepit (gas) where they were able to roast their beloved marshmallows. Us adults loved the huge kitchen with ALL its amenities, all the cozy lounging areas (we found our fav meteor shower gazing spot), the hottub with it's pretty lights at night, the TWO bathrooms 😀, and, during the heatwave, the AIRCONDITIONER! The location is perfect...it's a short drive to Qualicum Beach's beaches and town centre, the goats of Coombes, and lots of hidden spots. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and absolutely recommend this getaway spot! P.S. The kids say HI to the guinea pigs!
