Sand, Sea, and Sky is conveniently situated in the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of Pacific Shores Resort while being a stone’s throw away from all your needed amenities. Included with your stay during the summer are use of cruiser bicycles, kayaks, and standup paddle boards. Year round amenities that are included are the pool, hot tubs, sauna, beach access, ping pong, weights and fitness room. You can conveniently visit nearby Nanaimo, or explore the natural beauty of Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Fanny Bay and beyond. A perfect base camp for nature enthusiasts wanting to take in Rathtrevor beach, Englishman River Regional Park, or the excellent hiking in Mt Arrowsmith Regional Park. It’s the perfect spot for the break you wanted and a great launch point for day trips all over the Vancouver Island.

The Space:
There are 2 separate entrances, 2 separate bathrooms with spa like soaker tubs (no jets), and king-size beds in each of the self-contained bedroom areas. The set-up is ideal for friends or families. A 2021 queen sofa bed with memory foam is in the living room.
Kitchen essentials include:
- Tea and ground coffee.
- General spices, oil, vinegar, and sugar.
- Fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and necessary kitchen utensils.
Other items include:
- Free Wifi specific to condo.
- 3 smart TVs with Shaw cable, access to your TV subscriptions.
- Patio with seating that looks out to Craig Bay and Beaver Creek.

Just steps from the patio are Craig Bay and Beaver Creek where you can enjoy sandy beaches, tide pools, and wildlife. Nearby attractions include farm stands, local craft stores, local fish markets, and many opportunities to enjoy different beaches, rivers, and parks. Activities include walking, hiking, swimming in lakes, rivers or the ocean, mountain biking, road biking, caving (spelunking), fishing, boating, golfing, and wildlife tours. We had a wonderful stay! Mark was a fantastic host and provided wonderful hospitality throughout our visit. The view from the unit was incredible and really added to the experience.There was so much to do at the resort, and we especially enjoyed trying kayaking and paddle-boarding for the first time! There was plenty of fun for the whole family both at the resort and in the surrounding area.We did need to have the washer and dryer replaced during our stay, but Mark gave us plenty of notice and had everything taken care of quickly and efficiently. We really appreciated how smoothly he handled it.Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing family trip and truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Rented this place for 3 nights to treat my brother who came in from out of country. We both enjoyed the quiet surroundings. Because it's migration time several little flocks of geese (4-10) would fly low and land right on the water in front of our place. Beautiful to witness nature, and sunsets were very pretty. Can hear voices from other rooms however not very loud, kids running around on occasion. Everything very quiet after 11 pm. Any questions we had were responded to very quickly by the host.For the most part we weren't in the rooms a lot of the day and didn't use the facilities. Others can comment better on that but it seems to be well kept building. Lovely location and many places to visit and walk if you have the time. The rooms themselves are uniquely separated by double doors and the hallway with washer/dryer, kitchen, dining and living room were shared. Nice set up that guarantees privacy should people want it. Didn't end up using the electric fireplaces but was one of the reasons we chose this place. Just didn't have enough time to enjoy it all. Both bedrooms had direct access to seating area/patio to relax and enjoy the view of the water. Didn't see many people walking in front of our rooms so was private enough. Kitchen well-equipped and clean and nice spice rack. More time would have allowed us to cook but maybe next time. We were both happy with our stay.

We loved the amenities here! We had a great time kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, playing pickleball, and exploring the bay. The process for borrowing kayaks/SUPs was pretty unclear and stressful the first time we tried - there's a specific time you can borrow them based upon high tide that changes daily. This makes sense, but it wasn't communicated to us so we missed it the first day. I'd recommend getting to the check-out desk 10 minutes before they open to ensure you get what you want! The bay and surrounding area is really great for young kids to have beach and water experience.Our unit was spacious and well-appointed, but unfortunately the washer had leaked right before we arrived so we had some issues with the stay (wet carpets, smelly, no laundry). Because of that mess, the cleaner had obviously not been able to get to everything and the place didn't feel super clean, but she came back in the evening and worked overtime to get things finished up. We felt bad for her and it was kind of awkward having her in the space while we cooked dinner, but were grateful for the help! The owner of the unit obviously wasn't there and was just communicating with the cleaner - and he sort of downplayed the issue until we arrived and it was clear we couldn't stay in one of the bedrooms. He did issue us a partial refund for one night, which was appreciated. The dishwasher leaked later in our stay - seems like this place needs some updating and a deep clean. Nonetheless, we had fun!

Great resort getaway at the beach

Family had a great time at Pacific shores. Unit is well equipped and the view of the ocean is great. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, and pickleball courts. Hope to be back again next summer.

2. Pacific Shores is a relaxed, friendly place with beautiful views, walks and activities. It's a great place to relax or be as busy as you want.
3. All your activities and amenities can be found within a 5 minutes drive.
4. Central Vancouver Island is an excellent location for full or half day trips. Do as little or as much as you want.

What makes this property unique

People come from around the world to enjoy the beach. You can enjoy the views, take walks, build sand castles, fly kites, or simply be there to enjoy the sand, sea, and sky. In the summer, you can take out the kayaks, SUPs, and bikes (all included). There are local farms with fresh eggs, flowers, and produce within a 2-3 minute drive. There are restaurants, spas, shopping, and a variety of attractions all within 5 minutes. A good restaurant and spa services are on site. The condo has a patio that provides direct access to seaside trail and lawn area. The BBQ is just outside the front door.
