Gorgeous, spacious home on cove of Lake Michigan. It was perfectly located for our days exploring the Leelanau peninsula.

Thank you for enjoying our home so much. Leelanau is a special place and you chose a spot just about in the middle of it. We hope you will visit us again.
The accommodation and location were excellent. Convenient to all the things we wanted to do but also quiet for family time.

Nothing like an excellent family getaway. We are pleased to know that our home and location was a good fit for you. Thank you very much for being our guest.
This home is absolutely stunning! The owner has poured so much love into the furnishings and vibe. The property sits on 500 feet of gorgeous Suttons Bay shoreline to soak up, and a private tennis court with Pickleball lines to enjoy! There are ensuite bathrooms for every bedroom. Comfortable, spacious, peaceful ... a 10/10!

Perfect House For a Family Getaway
Our family enjoyed our stay at your home. It has four spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The view of the lake was spectacular. There is a nice deck with plenty of outdoor seating. There is a fire pit and a large grill for your use. The tennis courts were used!
The house has a great location: nice walk to town, close to vineyards, a biking trail, and an easy drive to Leland and Sleeping Bear Dunes.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

From the owner: "It is so good to hear that your family enjoyed staying in our home and found it to be the perfect family getaway. Thank you for being our guest!"
This is a wonderful house in a great location. The kitchen is well equipped. It is well furnished and the rooms are large. The deck that looks out on Lake Michigan is fabulous; it has lots of chairs , a picnic table and grill. There is a tennis court as well; the house has tennis and pickleball racquets for guests to use. It is 0.5 miles to town and to a nice grocery store. The town is charming and quaint. The house looks nicer than the photos,

Great house for a group
This house was great for our group of 6 (mix of couples and singles). The location on the water is hard to beat. The patio has a lot of seating for eating outside or just lounging. The view was great from there and from several places in the house. We slept with the windows open at night which was a real treat if you are coming there from Texas in August. The few things we had questions on were promptly answered by our contact person. She was prompt and helpful with her replies. I would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous home, right on Suttons Bay
We were blown away by this beautiful home directly on Suttons Bay. Each of the 4 bedrooms had its own bath, the master bedroom faced the lake and had an attached “office” area with a fireplace and queen sleeper bed which was functioned as a perfect adjoining room for my son and daughter in law’s children to sleep in. The bay windows in the kitchen and dining area provided gorgeous views of Suttons bay from each of the main rooms. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked - I could just go on and on.
We have visited the sleeping bear dunes area for the past several years and this home was hands down our favorite location and home by a long shot.
We hope to come back and stay in the future if it’s available.

From home owner: "Awe. Thank you so much for sharing how much you enjoyed staying here. It makes our day knowing how much you enjoyed your time there. We do try our best to make our guest's stay as comfortable as we can. You also can't beat the beauty of being on 500' of Grand Traverse Bay! We look forward to you and your family staying with us in the future."
This was a lovely home in a great location. But there were nine of us and the weather was hot and extremely humid and only two of the four bedrooms had wall unit air conditioners,. The property listed that it was air conditioned, no mention of wall units, or how many.
The hot water heater failed during our stay, and our contact person did get a hold of someone to fix it, but we were without hot water for a day and a half. Nine people
having to take ice cold showers was not our idea of a fun vacation, especially as it sounded like they’ve had previous problems with the hot water heater. As I said previously, it was a very nice home, but added air conditioners and compensation for inconveniences would be a definite plus.

From the owner: "We appreciate your thoughts of your time at our home. Those things out of our control, like the hot water going out, are something unforeseen. We never want our guests to have anything go wrong during their stay and deeply apologize and did credit your reservation. There are 3 mini splits in the house and the correct two bedrooms do not have AC but do have fans/ceiling fans. Thank you for staying with us."

Beautiful spot!
The location of the home was perfect! It has beautiful views of the bay and is within walking distance to downtown. It was large enough for our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). We enjoyed sitting on the deck and playing pickleball on the courts. A few downsides:The floors were very dirty. They visibly appeared clean, but we swept the night we got there and picked up tons of sand/dirt. Our feet were black from walking barefoot on the floor. I honestly do not think it had been properly cleaned in a long time. There were no AC Units in two of the bedrooms, which both got extremely hot. Some of the windows didn't open so getting a breeze at night was not possible. The deck had a broken plank and nail heads popping out all over. Our kiddos hurt their feet several times. The tennis courts were a nice bonus but had weeds growing throughout. Overall we had a wonderful vacation but the cleanliness of the house was a big turnoff.

From the owner: "Thank you for staying at the South Shore house. We are happy that you enjoyed the house and its location. It is a beautiful spot. We do apologize for the housekeeping inconsistencies. The house is cleaned every week, and the floors are steam cleaned. However, we understand that we missed the opportunity to do an outstanding job and will continue to work on that."
