This lovely home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to everything that Beaufort and the low country has has to offer. Just a short ride to downtown Beaufort's Chambers Waterfront park and Bay Streets many fine shops and restaurants. Visiting for a USMC Graduation ceremony? Its just a short ride to Parris Island to see your Marine recruit graduate. Make sure to visit the Village of Port Royal with its quaint shops, restaurant's and "cool vibes" and be sure to explore the Sands Beach, fishing pier and the Cypress Wetlands walking trail and nature preserve. This property is the ideal spot to launch a day trip to Hunting Island State Park or the historic cities of Charleston SC and Savannah Ga. There is much to do when staying here you'll need more than a few days to take it all in!

Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed with a full private bath. The second and third bedrooms each have a Queen bed with a conjoining full bath. The third bedroom has a twin bed and is located on the second level loft with a private full bath. The living room is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the Sea Islands! There is a bonus loft area on the second level featuring a big screen smart TV. The kitchen has all you need to cook your favorite family meals at home. A washer and dryer are located off the kitchen for guest use. Step out to the screened in porch where you'll love bird watching. There is a table and chairs located on the screened in porch so be sure to bring your cup of coffee and enjoy the sound of nature all around you. The large front deck features a seating area. The rental comes with a Hunting Island State Park and Beach pass for one vehicle. Visitors love to spend sunny beach days there, its a beautiful beach with a vast shore line so there's room for everyone! There is also a large fishing pier for anyone looking to catch dinner for the family. Kids will love spending time at Hunting Island nature center to check out all the different animal species that inhabit this area.

Great property with more potential

This is very nice home with great rooms and nice beds. If the exterior was cleaned up it would be excellent! It has great potential and we enjoyed our stay. Would certainly stay again.

Overall a great place. Several of the outlets didn’t work and so we couldn’t turn on lamps or plug in electronics. The tv in the loft did not work either. The house was clean and had spacious bedrooms.

Upon notice of the outlet not functioning we provided solution that it was due to a switch being off. At your departure the outlets were tested and it was indeed a switch at the bottom of the staircase that was causing the issue. Nice clean home

Everything was very smooth! We had all we needed, and the home was nice and clean. Our only disappointment was the quality of the mattresses, but we made it work! We certainly recommend this home for families of Marine graduates!

The home is managed by a management company. Very efficient at communicating and keeping us informed. We were disappointed in the beds. Main bedroom bed sloped to the middle. 2nd bedroom, the bed made loud crinkly noises. 3rd bedroom stated it was a queen, but was a full. Made for very tight sleeping quarters. Twin upstairs was ok. However, the acorns hitting the skylight above the bed overnight was unsettling! Seven of us fit comfortably in the home. Kitchen could use more flatware.

Beautiful home

Very comfortable for a family of 7. Beautifully decorated throughout house and bedrooms even had some gorgeous antique furniture. Location was great! Communication with property manager was wonderful. Only thing I would say was a con was the beds. Not extremely comfortable and prefer a bigger bed. Also, tvs in bedrooms would have been nice.

Family base for Marine graduation.

We had multiple generations planning to attend a Marine graduation and needed a four bedroom house. This property is a fifteen minute drive from the Parris Island entrance. It is not overly large, yet offered sufficient space for our party of seven guests. We liked the quiet neighborhood and the large yard that gave us a feeling of privacy. Inside, the bathrooms were clean and sufficiently stocked. The kitche also was clean and stocked with many staples (sugar, coffee, spices) that were convenient in various moments. We were satisfied with the experience.

Marine graduation on Parris Island

Our family of six drove from GA and MI to celebrate my nephew’s Marine Core graduation on Parris Island. The house was a perfect setting for us to meet, coordinate Family Day and Graduation transportation, close to dining and grocery. The house is exactly as pictured and described. We all felt right at home. The check in process was very smooth and we all appreciated the keyless entry as we arrived from different states at different times. The only element that could be improved is the use of the plastic mattress covers that caused the fitted sheet to slip off when sleeping. Upgrade the fitted sheet or invest in a better quality mattress protector.

Could have been great

Communication with property management was nonexistent. We had 6 people with 3 bathrooms and only 3 half rolls of toilet paper! We bought own! The beds had musty blankets and plastic on the mattresses. The screened porch had several holes and we couldn’t use it in the evening at all.

Pretty good overall

A couple of issues. The worst was for some reason there were two mattresses on the box spring in the bedroom that had its own bathroom. It got much better when we peeled the top mattress off. Another problem was the pillows and the beds had this very crinkly waterproof cover under the sheets and under of the pillow case. Impossible to sleep with that irritation. I guess the other issue was the porch light over the door was out. We told the property manager but nothing was done. to get in without a flashlight.
