This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sleeps 6 with all the necessities to make living easy, leaving you and yours (including your family members with 4 legs) to enjoy our beautiful city and all it has to offer.

The front family room boasts a full wall retractable sliding door window opening to the front porch for you to enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon happy hour or evening meal.

The kitchen is fully stocked and provides well for all our 'foodie' guests who prefer to cook at home on our 5 burner flat top stove. Dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, glasses, coffee (Kurig) maker, toaster available for your daily needs. Dine out on the patio porch or inside on the 4-6 seat bar height dinner table.

Relax and watch cable TV (basic cable package) or hook up to our WiFi for an evening in with your favorite movie or series on Netflix.

3 bedrooms to sleep in, either the top floor loft style room that includes its own washroom and shower, or choose one of the 2 main floor bedrooms with its Queen sized bed and airy and restful atmosphere. Bathroom on the main floor is fully equipped with a regular sized bathtub, lots of storage and a full length mirror.

This trendy neighborhood has great restaurants, coffee shops, grocery shopping as well as cold beer and wine store and our famous Earnest Ice Cream make it so scrumptious to be in your home away from home that you might not want to leave, but the city awaits. Get out there and find out why its not only one of the most beautiful cities in the world but a place you will call home, if only for a night (or more).

Family long weekend in East Vancouver

Well appointed and maintained property in a quiet tree lined street. Communication from property manager was great offering lots of suggestions for area restaurants to try out and follow up email to ensure we had everything we needed. House was near a few great kid’s parks with easy access to downtown as well as to the airport.

Would definitely come back. A block down the road from the park and our doggo loved it. Adorable patio, has opening slider door windows to the patio. Highly recommend.

Cleanest rental ever!

Rachel’s place is immaculate, cozy, well appointed and well situated for our needs. Lovely neighbourhood right next to great shopping streets and amazing Vietnamese food. The beds are very comfortable, the house is quiet and overall lovely. Rachel is very responsive and helpful. We will most definitely stay here again.

Excellent choice

After a long trip we arrived at a very tranquil inviting home. Upon entering it was a sigh of relief and absolutely home away from home. Kids playing and families walking down the sidewalk put a wonderful return to land in perspective. The host was outstanding. Great house, great location!

Really loved our stay! The location was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable and the space was very clean. One small issue though that could be easily fixed is that the third floor bedroom was sweltering from sun up until sundown (the outside air temperature cooled off significantly after the sun went down which cooled down the third floor). The thermostat in the room read 88°F / 31° C for each of the three days we were there, even with the shades drawn to prevent direct sunlight from infiltrating. We basically didn't use the third floor except to sleep as a result. An air conditioning unit in that room would make all the difference.

Cute, but a little pricey

The stay was overall great, and the location was very convenient. The home was clean and provided all expected amenities listed. My only gripe is that the cleaning fee is pretty high, considering the check-out instructions basically tell the guests to clean up everything themselves (e.g. removing sheets/towels/pillowcases and placing them in the restroom, sorting and taking out all trash/recycling/compost to the bin without error), which then feel like we're paying an large cleaning fee just to pay one. I don't expect to leave the place a mess, but it seemed like we were basically cleaning up the place for the next guests and paying for it. I'd still recommend to other guests, just expect to clean up after yourselves completely and leave no possible trace.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay at my VRBO property. I value feedback from our guests as it helps me continuously improve my hosting experience. The suggestions in regards to the cleaning /garbage is from my past experiances with guests. I suggest taking out personal garbage. I go into detail in regrads to the garbage and recycling because Vancouver is very strict. We are an extemly green city and if recycling or garbage are not dispossed of properly I am suject to a fine from the city. I ask if you do decied to take out your own personal garbge from your stay to put it all in the correcrt bins. As for the laundry, I suggest if at all possible to throw what was used during the stay in the bathtub. That way it is all in one contained place for the cleaning staff. The house is a large 3 bed, 2 bathrrom, 3 level home. I pride myself on the reviews of a spotless home. I by no means ask my guest to not leave a trace of mess behind. I welcome family's to enjoy the home and enjoy it. I have had very ungarcious guest in the past and I feel like making these small sugesstions helps with the respect of the state of my home after guests stay.
