The four of us had a fabulous time and stay at the cottage and mountains. We loved the cottage so much , we preferred staying in the house resting and talking. It was a lovely cosy feel about it. Very clean too. We will be back.

Lovely little get away

The property was super clean and tidy and was displayed exactly as the description stated. The bathroom was large and very spacious. Location was wonderful- right near the main road, making easy access when traveling around in a car. Only constructive comment is that the property has no blinds. I know this has been done on purpose but I must say it did feel a bit strange at night knowing that everything was transparent. The house though is quite ‘hidden’ down a drive way so no one can see in from street view. No wifi whilst we stayed but celular data worked fine. A lovely bottle of wine was left for us as an apology for the wifi being down. Thank you for a lovely couple of nights away!

Loved it!

We loved White Cottage! We stayed for 5 days/nights over Christmas and found it the perfect location - quiet and off the beaten track, but easily accessible to Laura and Katoomba. The little Christmas touches around the Cottage were a lovely touch. The kitchen is laid out well and was good to cook in - having a large fridge was a bonus. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable. The only downside and the reason that I have given the overall rating of 4 stars, is that there is only 1 bathroom and toilet - a second toilet would be handy. Otherwise White Cottage is a home away from home and we would certainly consider staying again.

Nice home in a lovely quiet location

This is a great place to base a Blue Mountain visit from. It is handy to all the sights (Wentworth Falls, Echo Point, Blackheath) but also quiet and peaceful. We did choose it on two criteria, pet friendly and a hot tub. There are multiple references in the property summaries to the hot tub which turn out to be in error. If that's not for you anyway then you should love it. For the record, the wifi had been knocked out by lightning and not repaired when we were there but I expect that is a temporary issue.

Hi Davie & Julie, thank you so much for your review, we are very happy that you enjoyed your time at White Cottage. Unfortunately the HomeAway system only refers to a spa bath as a hot tub. In this area in summer we have many electrical storms that affect phone lines. The service providers do their best to get systems running as quickly as possible.
