Welcome to Sand, a bright and comfortable one-bedroom apartment in the heart of East Ballina. Just 150 metres from the calm waters of Shaws Bay, this coastal escape offers beautiful views of the bay and glimpses of the ocean from your private balcony — a peaceful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or wind down after a day exploring.
Inside, the apartment is thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay, with a separate bedroom, a relaxed living area with reverse-cycle air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen. You'll have everything you need to prepare simple meals at home, including a large fridge, oven, stovetop, microwave, coffee pod machine, toaster and kettle. A flat screen TV, WiFi, washing machine, and hair dryer are also provided for your convenience.
We provide natural shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap, as well as dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent — so you can settle in without needing to bring a thing.
Step outside and enjoy access to a spacious communal garden — perfect for a picnic, a play with your dog, or simply soaking up the sunshine. You’re just a short stroll from Capiche, a popular Italian restaurant known for its fresh, local flavours, and only 200 metres from the iconic Shaws Bay Hotel, where you can enjoy a drink by the water or live music on weekends.
