As you take the exit for Marsh Island from the Causeway, you'll feel like you're pulling onto your own private island. With only a handful of homes here, you'll love the peace and quiet. All the festivities of Chincoteague Island are mere steps away, but you return to the sweet serenity that only Marsh Island offers. This tiny Island was formerly a Harbor for Commercial Fishermen that was converted to Waterfront Homes. You will experience Views that are simply stunning - 360 degrees of Waterfront Views of the Chincoteague Channel, Historic Main Street, the Bay, Marsh, and of course THE most incredible Sunsets to be found.

As you enter The Pearl at Marsh Island, you will feel the love and care that has been put into its recent renovation. The thoughtful Owners, who are incredibly artistically talented, have created a palette of sand, sea, and sky - simply stunning. And most of the decor is created by them personally - one of a kind and so beautiful. The rustic colors in the flooring will make you feel as if you’re taking a stroll on the boardwalk, with pale grays, bright whites, and even industrial feeling accents.

The Bedroom features a comfy Queen Bed, Flat Screen Satellite TV, and all the comforts of home. There is also a Sitting Area with a Full Futon, Flat Screen TV, and jaw-dropping Bay Views - you’ll want to relax the day away right here!

The Kitchenette has been transformed into an actual Kitchen with a full size Range, Microwave, Toaster, Coffee Station, and apartment-size Refrigerator. Well-stocked with all you need, mealtime will be a bay breeze. Dine at the Bistro Table with a view, or at the Breakfast Bar.

Very pet friendly with a little water bowl waiting with our care package. The views of the water are unbeatable, and the convenience to everything on the islamd was fantastic. For the proce, you can't beat it. We already recommended it to good friends who are also looking for a pet friendly weekend away.

“The Pearl” at marsh Island is small but perfect for 1 or 2 people who may have a small dog also. It was very quiet and peaceful, and the water view was perfect. The family of ducks that live on marsh Island were so much fun to watch and you could walk right up to them. The unit was very clean and had everything I needed. It was a great two week getaway.

We had a really great time at The Pearl on Marsh Island. i loved the location...the view was so beautiful. The place itself was very clean and cutely decorated. we loved the octopus on the bathroom wall!!! I also loved dealing With Seaside Vacations through the process of booking and staying there. very quick to respond and very friendly.

Very nice spot, not far from main part of area. Easy in and out. Bed was great, firm and BIG! Just the right size for 2. Parking could be a little bigger, but worked ok as is.

Cute place with beautiful views

The house was very cute! It took advantage of all the space. It could be tight with 4 adults, but it’s perfect for a smaller group. The sky out the back window was so pretty as the sun set, and the dock was perfect for coffee in the morning. I’d stay again.

It was an easy access to the main areas on ChincoteagueThe updated flooring and lighting was great and it was very calm and quiet in the evenings. Because it is really got on the water, the unit felt a little damp and musty, but we always travel with spray Lysol, so that was fine. At a fraction of hotel costs, it’s a great value in this area

I didn’t realize for a five day stay we would be limited to one bath towel. Asking a person to go do laundry to get a clean towel, seems silly to me. The shower does not drain. Taking a shower you stand in 2 to 3 inches of water. We also found the pictures very misleading. It appeared that the bedroom was more isolated and that was not the case.

Great cozy getaway spot

Nice location right on the water. We enjoyed sunsets from the dock. The pluses: quiet location, central to everything. Great views. Clear check-in and check-out instructions. Plenty of parking, appreciated the loaner beach gear! The minuses: definitely cozy is the operative word — I wouldn’t want to stay here with anyone else but my partner, since there aren’t hard doors separating the living and sleeping areas, and the layout is “shotgun” style. Kitchen could use another couple essentials, but otherwise workable.

Awesome Stay

This was an absolute delight of a vacation. We stayed on Marsh Island, Chincoteague, VA for 6 nights. WOW! What a stay. The Pearl was sensational. Crab traps, a beach bag, umbrella and gobs of other things to make us feel at home did JUST THAT. The team checked in on us frequently to see if we needed anything and to be sure we were enjoying our stay. Out unit was clean, exactly as pictured in digital online views, comfortable and in a great location to enjoy Chincoteague and then get away to further privacy on the water. We will definitely be back and tell all our friends. We were able to get some serious print making, reading and writing done from this location - so artists, take note! Be sure to use these folks for your next trip!!!

Nice property/listing incomplete

First time for me, my husband & 2 Boston Terriers to Chincoteague. The property is cute with nice decor touches, tight but thoughtfully laid out with everything you need. Would not recommend for more than 2 people with small child and small dogs only. Pros: Location/view Ability to walk dog around property Ground level/parking lot Cons: Listing incomplete regarding dog fees which has been since updated Rental agency unprofessional/not transparent I would still recommend this condo as I believe the pros outweigh the cons and hope the person @ rental agency was just having a bad day.
