Begin and end your day in the primary bedroom, equipped with all the essentials. 4 blocks to Metro and U St Corridor. 2 blocks to 11th St and Georgia Ave-bustling restaurant/bar/nightlife scene.

The Space:
We're in the buzzing neighborhood of Columbia Heights - it is the perfect place for couples, tourists, traveling executives, professors & students alike, looking for a very central area to explore Washington, D.C.!

Our freshly decorated one bedroom apartment is the perfect home base to plan the day's adventures! 
Just 2 miles from The White House & National Mall, a quick stroll to Howard University, and stones throw to the buzzing restaurant scene on 11th St and Georgia Ave our convenient locations ensures guests can enjoy all that the city has to offer.

We can sleep 4 guests comfortably by use of the below;
~ Queen sized bed in the primary bedroom
~ Queen sized sofa bed in the living space

The full galley kitchen and nearby supermarkets are perfect for those hoping to whip up a meal during their stay, with amazing restaurants close by, those less culinarily inclined will have no shortage of options.

There is a SmartTV in the interactive living area, perfect for unwinding together after a day of exploring the city. Stream from your favorite apps like Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Hulu and more. 

Guests can maintain their privacy & spread out; while the cozy living space provides a wonderful, communal respite from the hustle and bustle that rests just outside your door, guests can retreat to their secluded bedrooms to rest and recuperate from the day's activities. 

There are multiple laptop friendly workspaces (dining table & desk in bedroom) so those traveling on business will have their choice of a "home office" workstation. 

We provide all bedding essentials, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and a make up mirror. In the kitchen you will also find a complimentary bag of coffee to start your day off right!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire apartment, it is not shared.

There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

The Neighborhood:
The hip neighborhood of Columbia Heights has a plethora of dining, shopping and entertainment options!
With excellent proximity to public transportation you are not limited to the area, but you may not want to leave. With small family owned stores intermingled with big box stores so big you could get lost in, any shopper will find something up their alley! Stroll the mural lined streets and take in a show at the Tivoli Theater in lovely Columbia Heights! We are also close to some of DC’s trendiest areas; The ever lively 14th Street Corridor is a great area where you can find bars, restaurants, galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, music venues, vintage stores: the 14th Street scene has an experience for everyone. The U St Corridor which houses some of the best nightlife in the District is also a short distance from the apartment - the amazing music, food, and drink scene is a great way to spend an evening, and soak up the DC experience.

Getting Around:
We are a six minute stroll from Columbia Heights metro station. From there guests have access to the green and yellow lines. You can also catch several buses that whisk you all over the city, and nearby capital bikeshares make traversing the city a fun!
