The room was beautiful. The sunset view was stunning. My kids loved the lazy river in the palmetto tower the most. We cannot wait to come back when its summer!!! I’d recommended!! Property Management was easy to communicate with and friendly. Service at the hotel was also amazing, friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic Stay!

This was perfect for our family of four! The condo was super clean. Just as pictured. The view was stunning. Beds were comfy. The resort offers a ton of fun activities. The location is awesome. It's not in a very crowded, commercial area, but is a close drive to all of that stuff. We would definitely stay again!

Fourth time at Dunes!

We are big fan of this property. It is a great balance of fun and convenience for everyone in the family. Owners were easy to work with and quickly responsive to any question. Unit is clean and view is outstanding. My only critique would be that the beds are quite firm. A little too firm for me.

Mismatch between advertising and reality

After an 11 hour trip to Dunes, the front desk clerk couldn't find my reservation. After 1 hour of searching we were able to check in. The lock on the door is faulty, so is the electric stove. There is a thick layer of dust on the fans, the faucet in the bathroom is broken.

We had emailed you your check in letter with door code to enter the condo when you arrived. We have not been informed there is any issues with the door or the stove in this condo and have had this condo rented several times after your stay. Please know that if you have any issues during your stay we have staff that can assist you 24/7.

Everything about the condo was very nice, except that we had issues with the control panel for the washer and dryer. It was supported by one piece of black duct tape that kept giving way and exposing the wiring. We thought that was a little dangerous and wanted to bring that up to your attention. Otherwise, we would stay at this condo again! Thanks

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the condo. The view was amazing! I think that was my kids' favorite part. When we got there, it smelled a hint of cigarettes, the master shower didn't come on, and all the batteries were dead in the remotes and but that was taken care of quickly. The water park was just OK. It definitely needed some updating, along with the condo. The bed was also pretty hard. However, it was a decent space for us to spend a few days together without all the hustle and bustle.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Communication with VRBO and Luxury Beach Rentals was extremely poor. I would not recommend them to anyone. The stocking of supplies was minimal. Staying for a month, you were provided one small bar of soap, one small tube of shampoo, concitioner and lotion and one roll of toilet paper per batheroom. Luxury linen service means you wash and dry your linen and bedsheets. You are provided one package of laundry detergent and one package of dishwasher detergent and one small bottle of dishwasing liquid. The tv and internet systems are terrible. I would rate it as third world. The Dunes personnel are unfriendly since y9ou are not renting directly through them.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We wish you had read your check in information where we let our guests know that we only provide starter kits for the amenities and not for your entire stay. We also do not provide daily housekeeping or linen service unless requested. The condo does have a washer and dryer in the condo for you to use without enduring any added costs for this service or keeping your amenities stocked for the month. We honestly have not had issues or complaints about the internet or TV service, as long as you have the TV on the right HDMI they work just fine. Luxury Beach Rentals is available to communicate with 24/7. We have live people answering phones 24/7, emails 9 hours a day and responding through our texting service 9 or more hours a day. We do not leave calls, emails, or text unattended or unanswered and typically have a response time within minutes. We also have full maintenance and concierge service working 7 days a week to service any needs you have during your stay.

Only thing we did not like about the room was the washer and dryer needs updated. Other than that the staff was awesome and we would definitely stay here again!
