The ranch is very close to several wineries and just 15 minutes to Fredericksburg!

The bunk beds were so wobbly I could not let my 8 and 12 year old on the top bunks because I thought they would fall over. We even had someone sleeping on the bottom of each bunk bed and they were scared to roll over because the whole set moved in an unsafe manner. Also, there was no tv. I suppose that knowledge was my fault for not reading further into the amenities.

Wonderful Quiet Escape

We came to Kerrville for a family reunion and this place was awesome. I have 4 kids, so the thought of no wifi or tv actually had me excited. We sat around the fire pit and looked at the stars! They were so bright and beautiful. We loved walking the property with our pets. We had a hiccup with the water, but the owner was very responsive and we got it fixed in minutes. I will be staying here every year for our reunion (if it is open) and highly recommend!!

This unit was very dirty and lacking in amenities. There were burrs stuck in carpet and the bedding which were painful to step on. The inside and outside furniture were filthy and there was no assistance at check in. I would avoid this property. Very dated and unclean.

From the owner: We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our home. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Sticker burrs are a big problem in our area, and for that reason, we have a sign on the doors that asks people to remove their shoes before entering. Unfortunately, sometimes people don’t take it seriously.We also have a lot of pipeline construction on and near our property that contributes to our dust problem, and as far as the check-in process, our procedure is “self-check-in”. This began during COVID, and it has worked very successfully. The gate codes and key placement, as well as contact information, are provided in the cabin information online.We never received any complaints from the tenants, and we live on the property. We would have loved the opportunity to correct any issues if we had been notified. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Good size for family

Cows roamed close to house but were fenced oyt of living area. House size very accomodating. No stove in kitchen, but we took an electri skillet. Bought our own aluminum foil and charcoal for cooking on the charcoal grill. Minimal cooking utensils. Enjoyed the outdoor firepit!

Peaceful, relaxing stay

We had a very nice stay here. Property was gated, peaceful, beautiful and had roaming cows to boot! The listing pointed out there was no stove or wifi which wasn't an issue for us at all. We were able to text and browse with no issues and we were out during the day and ate out at night. There were no televisions in the house; however, it wasn't an issue for us as we enjoyed the cool mornings and evenings out on the big front porch deck after being out for the day. The other huge plus was we were able to bring our pets with us! It can be hard to find VRBO's allowing pets and this was such a big bonus for us and appreciate owners that allow, as in our case, two small pets. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
