Big Bear Cool Cabins
Loved the mid century vibe throughout and the neighborhood was super quiet. Some little squirrels and chipmucks to watch on the deck. Comfy bed, bathrooms were great, and the kitchen worked out nicely. The only thing we had trouble with was not being able to adjust the thermostat. It was pretty warm and we didn't want to leave any windows or doors open due to lack of screens.

Overall good
The cabin was very pretty however whatever you're paying for the cleaning service it's not worth it. The floor was dusty, bedding had stains and there was a lot of spiderwebs on windows and ceilings. A lot of dust underneath chairs and couch. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
I booked a pet friendly cabin for a few nights with my wife and kids because of our hypoallergenic mini schnauzer. I understand its unrealistic to think every single piece of pet hair should be gone but it shouldn't be on the bed sheets and couch. That led me to believe the sheets were not washed, or should've been washed more than once. The extra blankets in the closet had pet hair all over them as well. We ended up washing all the sheets as a peace or mind. We decided to wash the pillow cases as well and thats when we discovered how disgusting the pillows were. There were huge yellow stains on several of them, which tells me they've been reused more than they should've been. There was also a gross stain on our comforter and mattress pad. Because the cabin was not cleaned properly (dust, cobwebs) my wife spent most of her time suffering from an allergic reaction, due to the pet hair, etc. We booked right after a legit snow storm that dumped a couple feet of snow. The drivway was plowed once but needed to be hit a second time. That didnt happen before we got there so luckily I was barely able to get into the driveway with my 4x4 dually....not to mention my truck was almost to wide too fit because the snow blower/plow didnt bother going along the driveways snow stakes, so it was super narrow. The location was great, but I expected more attentiveness to the overall conditions of the property. A number to text was provided to us in case we needed anything. We got there on a Thur

Hi Ryan!
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize that the cleanliness of the cabin did not meet your expectations. Guest comfort and health are very important to us, and we regret that pet hair and bedding issues caused difficulties during your stay. We take all cleaning concerns seriously and will be reviewing our housekeeping procedures to ensure linens, pillows, and extra bedding meet our high standards for every guest.
We also apologize for the driveway and snow conditions. After significant storms, we work quickly to make properties accessible, but it’s clear in this case we could have been more thorough, and we’ll review our snow removal process to prevent this in the future.
We appreciate your feedback. It helps us improve and provide a better experience for future guests. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention.
