Great location and lake views. Great outdoor deck space. Check in/ out was very smooth and easy. House generally is nice but feels due for some general maintenance - kitchen sink leaks, kitchen lights are very dim, master shower didn’t work, AC struggled upstairs, deck needs a power wash. Etc. Nothing that was a major issue for our small group over a short weekend but may have been for a longer stay.

Beautiful property!

Loved the decor and amenities. Boat and jet ski dock was so convenient. Property manager answered questions immediately. Wish there was a non shared bathroom on main floor but it’s workable! Loved it here!

Great house and location

I bet this house is even better in the warmer months. We stayed in march, so it was still chilly in the mornings and nice during the day, but not warm enough to utilize all the lake location. It was perfect for my sisters and I to stay and visit for a long weekend trip. There could have been a few more kitchen items that would have made the kitchen more like your personal cooking kitchen but we made due:)I understand he has other properties as well in the area so we may check hose out for next time. Lake Notman is a wonderful area:)

Wonderful Weekend Stay

This property is amazing! Gorgeous view with an amazing porch to enjoy it on. Plenty of room inside as well. Well worth the money and we wanted for nothing. Questions were responded to in a timely manner. Our only complaint would be that when we arrived I think we must have been the first renters of the season because the porches were a mess along with the furniture we had to sweep the porch and deep clean all the furniture as it was covered in dust and pollen. The porch itself needs a pressure washing as it is pretty filthy!

The location is fantastic, the view of the lake is lovely, the size of the house is great (at least for two families), and the host was very communicative. There is deep water at the dock so we were able to bring our boat which was another big plus. However, there were a few struggles. The first being that the master shower does not work, so you better enjoy taking baths or be prepared to walk through a house full of people to use the basement shower. Secondly, the wifi is absolutely terrible, meaning all of the smart TVs in the house don't work either. Thankfully we were out on the lake during the day, but when we wanted to wind down at night and watch a movie, it wasn't an option because the movie would buffer every 10 seconds. Thirdly, the lighting in the house is terrible. If you plan on cooking, which we did, I would seriously suggest bringing a lantern or clamp lights or something. It is SO hard to see in the kitchen, there is no light in the pantry, and lightbulbs were out all over the house (light over stove, multiple lights in master bath, etc.). Would we stay there again? For a quick weekend getaway, yes, I would make do, especially if I planned to spend most of my time on the lake. But if you're staying for more than a couple of days or planning on spending a lot of time inside the house, I would take all of that into account.

We enjoyed our stay overall and appreciated several aspects of the property. The location and lake views were excellent, the home matched the listing photos, the air conditioning worked well, the appliances were updated and functional, and the mattresses were comfortable.The home has great potential but would benefit from some deep cleaning, maintenance, and updates. Spider webs, insects, and mosquitoes were noticeable throughout the property, including the dock and porch areas. The house felt warm and musty upon arrival, and improving air quality and ventilation would make it more inviting. Water pressure was inconsistent throughout our stay, and the downstairs shower was difficult to operate.Additional improvements could include replacing the carpet with more practical flooring, updating the deck furniture and lighting, power washing and refreshing the porch, improving indoor lighting, and addressing safety concerns such as the steep dock stairs and exposed tree roots in the driveway. We also would have appreciated basic starter supplies such as trash bags, paper towels, dish detergent, and cleaning tools.Overall, the property offers beautiful views and a great location, but some attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and updates would significantly enhance the guest experience.
