This charming one bedroom cottage is located just 10 minutes drive from both Kangaroo Valley and Berry. The cottage is set in an idyllic location surrounded by lush farmland and spectacular mountains.
There is a comfy queen size be and underfloor heating throughout the cottage to keep you warm in winter. Light meals can be prepared in the kitchenette which has a portable electric cooktop, microwave, bar fridge and a nespresso coffee machine - some complimentary pods are provided. There is also a Weber gas BBQ located on the veranda.
Complimentary wifi is provided but there is no TV so you will need to bring your own device if you would like to stream. Better still take the opportunity to disconnect from the outside world.
The cottage is located on a large farm and while the separate main homestead is next door the owners are generally only in residence on weekends. There is also another cottage (Molla Eco Lodge) on the property which accommodates another couple but is totally separate from the cottage and the main house.
Guests also have access to the solar heater inground pool and tennis court with racquets provided. These shared facilities are also available to guests at the Eco Lodge if they happen to be there at the same time.
For those feeling a little more adventurous there is also a bushwalk along a stunning rainforest creek to a private waterfall located on the property. It is important that guests stick to the path at all times and take care as the track is steep and slippery in some places.

Our escape to isolation/ birthday wedding anniversary celebration
A beautifully quiet and scenic location we loved the basic simplicity of the house. We slept like logs in the comfy bed. The rain forest walk to the waterfall was magnificent only marred by being attacked by dozens of leeches!,Thank you for providing such a perfect unique retreat
I needed some time out to reflect and process a recent loss. Watta Cottage was perfect. The views were amazing and the cottage was very comfortable. Only downside was the fridge is too small to hold more than a day or two of food. I will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Two single beds pushed together was the major minus as was the kitchen set up ie microwave at ground level as well as appliances stored at ground level under the sink as was a tiny fridge could hold very little. Milk in the fridge would have been nice to make a cup of tea on arrival but unfortunately not.On the plus side it had a beautiful outlook and we encounterd lots of wildlife and the location was quite convenient yet secluded. Overall 3 stars, the price at 300 plus dollars per night was a little high for what you get.

The cleanliness of the interior was very poor, needs a really good clean. Under the bed was disgusting and filthy. Two single beds joined together to make a queen was ridiculous, beds kept coming apart. BBQ was left in a filthy state. Ants running all over the kitchen benches. Attacked by leeches on the walk to the waterfall. Disappointing and the overall cost for one night was an absolute ripoff to the extreme. Owners trying to cash in on charging ridiculous prices for a tiny little cottage with no additional luxuries.
