Set up to accommodate 4 guests, the comfortable interior setting enhances the experience at ‘Saltbush’. Curl up on the lounge suite with a good book, use the WIFI or watch a great movie (smart TV with streaming capabilities). Reverse cycle heating-cooling units in the main living hub and two bedrooms ensure all-year comfort, combined with the eco and acoustic benefits of double-glazed windows.

Both bedrooms are beautifully appointed with luxury white hotel quality sheets and bath towels, please BYO beach towels. We have done all we can to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The master bedroom has a Queen Bed, and the other room has a Double Bed. Both have built-in wardrobes and independent reverse cycle heating and cooling. One bathroom offers sophisticated, modern amenities, including a large shower, stylish vanity and toilet.

Follow the paths and boardwalks in the area to enjoy the wetland reserve, picnic shelters and the bushy nature trails of Deep Creek Reserve. This apartment is located in a quiet, safe and friendly neighbourhood. Ideal for both the adventurous and those who want to kick back and relax.

All within the immediate area: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUPing (Stand Up Paddle), diving, bike riding, running paths, skateboarding and golf or sitting back and if relaxing is more your thing then chose from many of the beautiful surrounding beaches, parklands, cafes, bars, restaurants, spas, shops or designer boutiques to spend your time.

- Located opposite the skate park, playground and sporting precinct.
- 1km stroll to cafes, supermarket, wine bar, restaurants at Torquay North Shopping Centre.
- A short drive to the surf shops and Torquay’s town centre.
- Or take a 15 minute drive to the famous Bells Beach.

Surf City Plaza is home to iconic surfing brands such as Quiksilver and Rip Curl (both of which originated in Torquay). There are also many other iconic brands in the Plaza or across the road. Head around the corner to Baines Crescent and find a variety of factory outlets.

You will find everything you need for a fabulous holiday all within a short walk.

Torquay has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks along the Esplanade and beach front, especially the walk to Jan Juc.

As well as Torquay’s famous surf beaches there are family-friendly beaches. During the summer season lifeguards patrol at various locations including Torquay Back Beach, Cosy Corner and Jan Juc Beach. Fisherman’s Beach is not patrolled but is a relatively safe beach with a wide shallow bar.

Torquay’s sporting reserves are opposite the apartment, including the Djila Tjarri Skate Park and Playground, Banyul Warri sporting ovals and the Farmer’s Market on Merrijig Drive every Saturday. Paths to nearby boardwalks and wetland reserves offer picnic shelters and acess to the bushy nature trails of Deep Creek Reserve. A 25-30min walk will see you arrive at beautiful Fisherman’s Beach. Walk to Torquay North shopping centre for all your essentials (1km), with the convenience of a cafe breakfast, daily coffee, dining options, bottle shop, chemist and a bakery. More boutique shopping is nearby at Torquay’s Gilbert St or the popular Surf City Plaza.

Our beautiful local beaches including family-favourites, Fisherman’s Beach and Cosy Corner, a short 6minute drive away. Torquay Beach offers family friendly swimming and surfing, and is patrolled in summer months.

Torquay Point, Jan Juc and Bells Beach offer waves for advanced surfers.

Spring Creek caters to family fishing, SUPing, kayaking.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries and breweries around the region.

Farmers Market operates every Saturday morning on Merrijig Drive, easy walking distance.

Adventure Park is also a great day out with the kids – approx. 45mins drive away.

Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to parks and shops. On-street parking available, but no access to locked garage.

Buses to and from Torquay and Geelong (Number 50 or 51). 
Closest train station 15km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne. 

Torquay is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.
