All within the immediate area: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUPing (Stand Up Paddle), diving, bike riding, running paths, skateboarding and golf or sitting back and if relaxing is more your thing then chose from many of the beautiful surrounding beaches, parklands, cafes, bars, restaurants, spas, shops or designer boutiques to spend your time.

Torquay has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks along the Esplanade and beach front, especially the walk to Jan Juc.
As well as Torquay’s famous surf beaches there are family-friendly beaches. During the summer season lifeguards patrol at various locations including Torquay Back Beach, Cosy Corner and Jan Juc Beach. Fisherman’s Beach is not patrolled but is a relatively safe beach with a wide shallow bar.

Paths to nearby boardwalks and wetland reserves offer picnic shelters and acess to the bushy nature trails of Deep Creek Reserve. A 25-30min walk will see you arrive at beautiful Fisherman’s Beach. Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to parks and shops. On-street parking available, but no access to locked garage.
Buses to and from Torquay and Geelong (Number 50 or 51).
Closest train station 15km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Torquay is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.
