Welcome to 302 Claressa - Avalon Home

Think extended family with great location, and this is the vacation home for you. This two-level home has been recently updated and is located just minutes from the beach. It offers a spacious living area with large windows and a handy kitchen in which to prepare those family meals.

Two bedrooms and a bath are on the first floor, and three bedrooms, a bath, a small open living area with a beautiful fireplace, and an outdoor deck are on the second floor. 302CL

QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited).

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

Annual family vaca

Conveniently located to shops, restaurants and activities. We enjoyed a day at the cabanas, kayaing and snorkeling.The house was well equipped abd everyone was comfortable. Will definitely come back..

Great spot in a great location on the Island.

This home is great for large families or small groups of friends, location is perfectly located right near the center of Avalon. Management team is super responsive and easy to work with. Great spot.

Excellent location

This was a very comfortable stay for a group of friends celebrating birthdays. The only thing that was missing was body wash in the bathrooms. Overall Excellent location and accessible to all attractions and ferry stop, grocery store, church etc

Great for Families

We loved our stay in this home. It's great for big family gatherings. You can feel that this home has been loved and a lot of great times have been had here. Great location. Not too far for just walking from the ferry and close to everything.

Perfect Location, Cozy Home

My family and I came here for a New Years trip and absolutely loved it. The house was super cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. It is so centrally located, we enjoyed walking to shops, restaurants, and bars throughout the week. Such a memorable and special trip. We would absolutely come back.

Perfect Family Getaway

Always scary booking something for the whole family not knowing what you’re going to get! This place was PERFECT!!!Great location, the size was big enough and still cozy, plenty of pillows, blankets and towels for everyone. Had everything we needed to make this marathon weekend a success. The house is wonderfully located and it was a great gift to have five comfortable bedrooms for our group of ten. The house has large and inviting common areas, a well appointed kitchen, lovely decks, and a fantastic rooftop outdoor seating area with awesome 360-views of the harbor, town, and mountains. We were there during heavy rains and the whole place leaks like a sieve, but since it is usually dry on Catalina Island, that is really a problem for the owners, not the guests. Our largest irritation was that the management company overlays its own rental system and contracts atop those of Vrbo. So at the last minute, guests must sign laughably onerous additional contract provisions and provide copies of ID and credit cards on pain of losing direct access to the unit and having to go into the rental company’s office to do the deal in person!! So if you want the convenience of Vrbo leasing without onerous last-minute added leasing requirements, this isn’t the place for you. In the end, we were over a barrel and satisfied the company’s added demands, and we happily had a good stay with lots of happy times.

Very homey

Comfy and cozy just like home. Great location, two blocks from the boardwalk. Comfy beds in a well stocked kitchen. Love the view from the top of the roof. Only one drawback was the towels are like sandpaper

Great rooftop views

Location is great. A few blocks from main town and beach. The beds are comfortable. Sitting areas are nice. The top deck is awesome. The 2 bathrooms and kitchen are dated but not horrible. The house is dark. lighting is minimal especially in the kitchen. For a couple days it's fine especially if you are out and about most of the time.

Amazing Catalina Experience

This house was absolutely amazing! 9 of us stayed and there was more than enough room! The rooftop deck is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect place to layout in the sun, away from all the crowds. The location of the house is a quick walk from downtown which was perfect because you didn't have to deal with all the walking or vehicle traffic like other home closer to main street. We highly recommend this house, it was truly amazing!

Weekend stay

This place was perfect for a weekend with girl friends! We stayed for a long weekend, explored town, and enjoyed the place! It is spacious, has entertainment options, has good room options! Trash was easy, kitchen was great, bathrooms were good! If you know you will need to do laundry, I would check before that the one at the house is not out of order!

Great Location, but needs updates.

We had a great weekend in Catalina, and the location of the property was amazing. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to. Communication with property managers were great, we had broken fans and coffee makers and they replaced them quickly. The house needs some updates, the top balcony umbrella wouldn’t open, there were even more broken fans than the ones we returned. When it is 90 degrees with no a/c it was unbearable upstairs without good fans. The fridge needs a deep clean, it definitely had a smell, but it didn’t stop us from using it. We saw a mouse one night in the upstairs bathroom, notified management and they called pest control right away. Location is 5 stars, cleanliness and broken items brought it down to a 3. For as much as we paid it was a tad disappointing.

Clean, spacious, and conveniently located!

We had a great time at the property. It was clean, large, and very conveniently located. We had a group of 8 adults to celebrate a 30th birthday, and we all enjoyed ourselves. There was plenty of room for everyone! The one thing that was a little disappointing was that the roof deck was covered in tarps so we could not use it. We did think we would be able to from the listing. We will certainly keep it in mind for our future trips!

Perfect multi family get away home

We had 10 in this 5 bedroom home and it worked perfectly . With 2 living spaces ( one up and one down) the Warrior game could be enjoyed with excitement - while downstairs the music was going to the tedious zig saw puzzle work ! Would rent again !!! Thank you

It was wonderful! Exactly what we wanted!

The rooms were great. Good beds. Plenty of extra space. Indoor was spacious and outdoor was lovely too. The patio and the rooftop were great for early evenings and meals. It was close to the beach, parks, Botanical Garden and hiking. Just perfect!

The house was just as described. The property was clean and well stocked. The only downside was that the washer does not work and the dryer will leave your clothes with rust spots.
