Beautiful cottage on a mountain top new fresh clean and excellent taste of furnishings garden location in the trees is beautiful quiet remote, perfect place for solitude and beauty one bed room downstairs next to the single bathroom second bed is upstairs on fairly narrow stairwell. We enjoyed it very much and would love to spend a week or two in this beautiful location.

The Garden Cottage was absolutely perfect for our Salt Spring getaway. More than met our expectations; we were cozy, comfortable, it was quiet and so restful and peaceful. Just what the doctor ordered! Loved it and hope to return in the future

The lodge was located in a unique place, secluded in a woody area with a lovely garden. It has a large deck creating possibilities for a lovely morning breakfast, reading a book, enjoying the view of the garden or a long dinner in the evening (Summer time of course)

Explore Salt Spring for a few days

Excellent place to explore Salt Spring. The deck was fantastic and the cottage was very comfortable and quiet. Would definitely consider staying there again next time. It was the ideal cottage to escape for a few days.

If you are looking to escape the city noise look no further. This cottage and its location defines tranquility. It was so peaceful and relaxing at this cabin. On the deck you can hear a variety of bird songs and the occasioanl bleep of the goats. The deck is enclosed as is a small back yard which was perfect for our dog to run around after being on leash most of the day. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The sleeping spaces were clean and comfortable. We adored this place and found ourselves wanting to spend time away from ganges and the busy downtown core and spend more time relaxing in this hidden oasis.

Wonderful gem on Saltspring

This was the perfect place for a quiet, serene getaway. Nestled in the trees and surrounded by many welcoming birds, the cottage was ideal for a weekend to rest and recharge. Clean and private, check in/out seamless. Definitely would stay again!

A quiet picturesque get away

Fabulous Island Getaway

A wonderful weekend getaway! We hadn't been to Salt Spring before, and Michael provided some ideas and tips for enjoying the island. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked, so we were able to make one dinner at home, as well as enjoying breakfast or drinks on the patio, overlooking the garden and the forest. Both bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. I would strongly recommend staying here, and can't wait to come back again!

A serenely peaceful home away from home!

This is a beautiful and well appointed cottage set in idyllic surroundings with the peace only disturbed by the lovely bird calls! You can read on the breezy deck, cozy up with a show in the high-ceiling living room, or nap in one of the comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen has almost everything you need as well. We had a divine stay and hope to return soon. And our host Michael was delightful!

Beautiful property and so clean!

There was some miscommunication and assumptions made between the owner and ourselves, when it came to having a pet and when it came to the breakfast option. The owner also did not answer (ignored?) the question I posed three times in VRBO messaging about whether any discounts were available but answered my other questions. And lastly, there was no toilet paper in our cabin and so we had to text the owner to bring some over and that text was made late in the evening and not the best for the owner or for us. When the owner came to drop off the TP, my dog was on the couch, and the owner was visibly displeased and had to say to me “dogs are not allowed on the furniture.” I felt terrible, even though we had put a towel down, it was the reprimand/tone (we were paying $438/night) that felt offside. Otherwise so very clean and really lovely place.
