Aumoana is a luxury five-bedroom home above Onetangi Beach with wide sea views, a private pool, spa, gym and large indoor-outdoor living areas. Sleeping up to 12 guests, it includes two super-king suites, a king room, queen room and bunk room with four king-single beds, plus four full bathrooms, a powder room and onsite parking for multiple vehicles.



The Space:

Aumoana is a five-bedroom luxury home positioned above Onetangi Beach with wide sea views and space for groups of up to 12 guests.



The main living, dining and kitchen areas share a large open-plan space. The fully equipped kitchen has quality appliances, generous bench space and room for several guests to prepare meals together.



The dining and living areas connect directly with the kitchen, creating a central shared area for the group. Large doors open to the pool, spa and outdoor living spaces, maintaining a clear connection between the interior and the sea-facing outdoor areas.

Guest Access:

Guests have full and private access to the property, including the pool, spa, gym, and all outdoor living spaces. There is parking on site for multiple vehicles.



Check-in is from 2 pm, and check-out is 10:30 am. Early or late check-ins may be available for an additional fee, depending on bookings before or after your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Aumoana is positioned above Onetangi Beach with elevated sea views. The walk down to Onetangi Beach takes around ten minutes and leads directly to the sand and the beachfront cafés.



The walk from the property to Onetangi Beach takes approximately 10 minutes. The beachfront area has swimming access and several places to eat, including Charlie Farley’s, Three Seven Two and Ki Māha.



Vineyards and dining venues in the wider Onetangi area include Tantalus Estate, Stonyridge, Obsidian and Casita Miro.



The Heke is also accessible by vehicle from the property.



Getting Around:

The local bus runs along Seaview Road, with a nearby stop serving Aumoana and connecting Onetangi Beach with Palm Beach, Oneroa Village, and the Matiatia passenger ferry terminal. Buses run regularly from Onetangi, stopping near many of the island’s well known vineyards including Tantalus, Stonyridge, Te Motu, and The Heke, before continuing through Oneroa and on to the ferry.



If you are driving, there is plenty of parking available on site. E bikes and electric scooters are also available for hire across the island and work well for exploring nearby beaches, wineries, and village areas.



Other Things to Note:

This is a self-catered holiday home, not a fully catered stay. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, coffee, tea, and milk to help you settle in on arrival. Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed during their stay.



For properties with a fireplace, stays between 1 June and 30 September include a starter supply of firewood. Additional firewood can be purchased from local petrol stations, Woolworths, Four Square, and Mitre 10.



Beach towels are provided at the property all year round.



The property is set on an elevated coastal site with stairs between levels and an unfenced pool, and is not suitable for young children.



The home runs on rainwater, so guests are asked to use water mindfully.



Bookings are accepted on request only.



Minimum stays:

7 nights mid-December to mid-January

3 nights on long weekends

The Stay Waiheke team are locals who love this island and are always happy to help. We’re available seven days a week from 8:30 am to 5 pm, and for emergencies only, there’s an after-hours number so you’re always covered.
