Summary:
Capturing all-day sun and sweeping sea views, The Pah is an architecturally designed retreat with a subtle nod to Balinese living. Balanced across landscaped gardens and an infinity lawn, the home feels as though it floats above the Hauraki Gulf, spacious, calming, and made for relaxed, easy gatherings.
The Space:
The Pah is a home designed around connection to the view, to each other, and to the slow rhythm of Onetangi.
The master suite sits privately at one end of the home, perfectly positioned to take in those incredible sea views. This room includes its own ensuite with a claw-foot bath and an open shower, a quiet space for retreat at the start or end of the day.
Bedrooms two and three are located at the opposite end of the house, each with views of the water and sunlight pouring in throughout the day. Bedroom four overlooks the garden and is furnished with a set of bunk beds, ideal for children or teens. The main bathroom sits centrally and includes a spacious double shower.
The home offers two large living areas. The main lounge frames a panoramic outlook across the Gulf and includes an open fireplace, generous sofas, and plenty of space to unwind. A large pass-through to the kitchen keeps conversation flowing, and the beautifully appointed kitchen makes hosting or family meals effortless. The oversized kitchen table doubles as a casual island, perfect for long breakfasts or shared platters.
A second lounge sits just beyond the kitchen, more intimate in feel, complete with a wood-burning stove, bay seating, and more of those expansive views. An adjoining office nook with a daybed can be closed off when quiet is needed.
A utility area off the kitchen offers extra fridge space and laundry facilities.
Outdoors, the north-facing patio has both dining and lounging spaces, from generous seating to 1950s butterfly chairs ideal for a sunny afternoon drink while watching the colours change over the water.
