We had an amazing time at the Delton Oasis Retreat! The cottage was very tastefully decorated and the views were fantastic. Everything we would ever need was furnished so all we had to do was relax and enjoy it. We loved the deck and the sun room. The host was great and responsive to a couple of questions we had. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone wanting quiet and beautiful place to stay.

This cabin was super quiet and had a gorgeous view. We had fun kayaking around the lake and completely destressed. We had everything we needed. I would definitely go back.

We were two couples in their 60's using the cottage as homebase while we attended Model A days at the Gilmore Museum. Cottage was comfortable, loved the small town too. A good choice for our stay. Would stay again.

Nice cottage with a great view of the lake. There are 40 steps to the beach. Great communication with owner. (Don’t everyone reserve this now because we well may want to come back) lol.

Beautiful view of the lake. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities. Whoever decorated has excellent taste! Check-in process was amazing. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Fall is beautiful on the lake

Can up from FL to support family during difficult health issue. Unplanned. Thankfully, I was able to secure this property. Beautiful lake views, fall foliage on display. Host was available by phone and very accommodating. Next visit, will bring family to our location for a day. Perfect for hosting a gathering. Everything you need is provided by host. Was a wonderful respite from the reality of our trip

Exterior not cared for, deck not cleared, having lots of tree debris. Insufficient interior trash cans, no exterior trash cans, BBQ filthy and unusable, with no briquets or fluid. Bed cloths poor quality. The location is excellent, but the property is not well cared for. Kitchen is good, with proper utensils and dishes. Porch has excellent view. Lakeside area needs to be completely rehabbed.

Shared from the owner: "Hi Robert, we were at the cottage two days before you arrived and cleared the deck, driveway, and all walkways, as we always do prior to guests arriving. The trees in Michigan are dropping seeds like crazy this time of year. We always do our best to make sure the decks are clear, but sometimes Mother Nature has other plans.We will take the comments regarding the need for more trash cans into consideration. We have not received this feedback before and feel that we have an adequate amount, but we welcome your input. There is an exterior trash can in the driveway, which we mention in our Welcome Book.We sincerely apologize for the state of the outdoor grill. We simply forgot to clean it during our last cleaning session. We don’t normally stock charcoal or lighter fluid but, again, this is good feedback and something we will consider.While we feel they are not “poor quality”, we’re sorry the bed sheets were not to your liking."
