Looking for the perfect place to unwind from the business of everyday? If so, the Boater's Cabin is for you. Being an island retreat you will have to have your own boat to get to us. There are boat rentals available which we can assist with. Once on the island, you can begin your rest and relaxation with walking through the forest, swimming in the lake, spending time at Hutcheson's Beach, fishing, or simply enjoying your favourite beverage with a good book on the dock. The views are spectacular!
You will enjoy an 840 square foot living space with a bedroom loft and wood burning stove to keep you warm during the cool nights. There is an ample supply of games and books to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped with things like a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, pots, pans, utensils, cooking oil and basic spices, and offers both indoor and outdoor cooking options. If cooking is not your thing, enjoy a short boat ride into Huntsville to take in some local dining and entertainment. A visit to the Nutty Chocolatier is a must!

Great Escape

I booked this property by mistake buz I didn't noticed that this place is water access only and I don't have a boat. After community with Pam & Glen, they found me a water taxi. I would say that communication with Pam & Glen was seamless and their warm hospitality made my trip truly memorable. The view of the lake is unbeatable. The cabin has everything I needed. The fireplace makes the place warm and cozy. Unfortunately there were raining for two days so Glen told us how to run the generator. Pam & Glen truly ensuring their guests have a wonderful experience. They were always available to answer questions and offer assistance. Their personal touch, including a warm welcome upon arrival, made me feel right at home. I will recommend this place and will come back again when I own a boat.

Beautiful Getaway

This is a wonderful spot and we had such a nice vacation. The cabin is beautiful, fully stocked so all you need is to bring your food. The dock is easy to get to and access. Pam and Glen were fabulous hosts. They were readily available for any questions before or during our stay. Would definitely go back and recommend this rental.
