A beautiful cabin in the woods overlooking Arrowhead Provincial Park and the Big East River. Come enjoy the peace and quiet of the River House. Enjoy breathtaking views at the outdoor fire pit, or snuggle up next to the stove for a movie or board game. Minutes from downtown Huntsville and Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area, very close to snowmobile trails with lots of parking for trailers. Arrowhead Provincial Park is famous for its Fire And Ice torchlit skating trails as well as snow-shoeing and cross country skiing. We provide our commercial pass for Ontario Parks which is good for both Arrowhead and Algonquin. Bunkies are not heated or insulated and are not available outside May-October. 1 bunkie has a queen sized bed, 1 bunkie has two twin beds with a tv and video games. ***We do not have laundry services onsite. Guest will need to provide their own sheets, pillow cases and towels.***

Lovely cabin!

The place was perfect for what we were looking for! 6 of us had an excellent getaway including skating at Arrowhead, and enjoyed winding down with the fire and the special touches and activities provided by the host!

Little bit of heaven

Wonderful stay. Very clean. Kitchen was very will stocked- everything we needed for cooking. Cosy and warm. Close to Arrowhead Provincial Park. Skating and hiking. Josh was great at communicating and letting us know what we needed to know regarding rental. Highly recommend this stay!

The Perfect Winter Weekend Getaway

5 stars all around! We had a fantastic stay at Josh’s cabin. The check-in process was easy, the cottage itself was cozy, well equipped, and located in a perfect area! We used the Ontario Parks Pass and did some x-country skiing and snow shoeing next door at Arrowhead. Downtown Huntsville is close by if you want to grab a bite to eat or do a little bit of local shopping. Lots to do and see. Josh is a great host and made sure everything on our end was going well. We’ll be sure to visit again!
