We loved the entire property! The cats were so special! Cried when we had to leave Binx behind. The house is super clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our daily visits with Scarlett and all the other cuddly kitties!
Mornings on the farm were amazing. Peaceful, calm and loved watching the birds and livestock. The house was cozy, clean and charming. Will definitely look to rent again.
The property was well appointed. There were lots of little touches that made us feel welcome. The animals on the property were so sweet, especially the cats. We will be back!
Amazing property! My wife loves animals. We got to pet and feed the horses, goats, and donkeys. There were also dogs, cats, and turkeys on the property. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a getaway away from thr big city and all the noise.
From booking to checkout .. everything was perfect! The communication was top notch and we loved sitting on the front porch and counting the fish jump while having our morning coffee. Thank you Jerry for watching over the animals and building your dream.
The rescue farm and cottage are lovely, and made for a very peaceful getaway. The location is very convenient to Benson, and locale provides lovely areas to walk and enjoy nature.
Jerry the owner of the property is a fantastic host and a great person. He had candy for the kids and fresh fruit for our stay. The animals are such a great addition and the scenic setting is a bonus everyday.
We loved the farm and all of the animals there. The house has been upgraded and is clean and very well appointed with everything you need for a perfect vacation in the Benson area. My wife and I were there with our dogs and we can’t wait to return soon!

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Our stay was fine. There is an overall smell of cat pee and several stains on the furniture. We felt like we were being watched by the owner and animal caretakers. We were scolded for driving too fast down the driveway and immediately started to be more careful but the owner continued to give dirty looks. The house is nice and we enjoyed visiting with the rescue animals.

From the owner: We take great pride in our rental and ensure that everything is 100% guest-ready. Our professional cleaners do a great job, and we have a steady number of 5-star reviews from people who have enjoyed the property.I am the owner of the property, and I take the safety of our guests and the animals very seriously. We have signs posted warning people to drive slowly for the safety of others. When you were driving at high speeds, we asked you to slow down. I did not give you any dirty looks. I was merely watching to be sure you were taking your time.We have also not had any cats in the property and have not noticed any odors. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
Stayed here while visiting an ill family member. Chose this place because I felt it would be relaxing and peaceful. Brought my family member here to decompress. The house is beautiful and the property is beautiful. There is a beautiful lake right outside the windows of the living room. There is a trail to walk on where you will see butterflies and dragonflies. There is a beautiful natural waterfall. In addition there are animals including horses, goats and donkeys that you can feed. Definitely a little paradise.

Peaceful
This is the perfect place to make your staycation whatever you want it to be. We chose the peaceful route. Sitting outside on the porch, listening to the animals, watching the all of Gods amazing creatures.
We really enjoyed our talks with Mr. Jerry (the property owner) and watching the animals, sitting on the dock enjoying the pond, and the waterfall. The cabin/house is just beautiful and has a great view of the pond from the living room seating area.
Mr.Jerry has a lot of awesome plans for the future. We will definitely visit again and I can't wait to see his visions come to fruition.
