Amazing spacious property that has fantastic views of the mountains. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Owner easy to work with and there is an extremely helpful caretaker on site in case you need anything. Easy access to town, Yoho National Park and Western Banff, Lake Louise. We had a perfect stay. Don’t hesitate to reserve it as it most likely books up fast.
There were 6 of us and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are all a good size and have a washroom. The views are fantastic! This property is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city or town and enjoy a relaxing time with friends and family in the middle of the mountains
We had an excellent stay at this location! The host was kind and always willing to help. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. All of the amenities worked as advertised. My only recommendation to others is that there wasn’t any soap in the showers and there wasn’t as many towels as we would’ve hoped. Neither of these would be a deterrent from booking again though. 5 stars.
The owner was wonderful, and a friend of theirs, who lives nearby, came over to explain how the hot tub works and provided great recommendations for activities in the area. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable.
And the view … it’s paradise
Loved the place, great location with plenty of outdoor space for the kids to explore and run around, and amazing views of the mountains. Having deer over was a nice surprise!
Set back a little ways off the beaten path this is a lovely, comfortable cabin with amazing views. Worked well for our family of 5, each of my girls had their own bedroom. We particularly enjoyed the trail down to the Blaeberry River - gorgeous little spot. We like that this spot allowed access to many points of interest: Golden itself, Yoho and Glacier National Parks - all just a hop, skip and a jump away. The only complaint would be lack of window coverings in the bedrooms; in early summer it stays light outside until quite late and so the girls had to use sleep masks to cover their eyes. Not a big deal but something to be mindful of, if you are light-sensitive when trying to fall asleep. Overall, we really enjoyed the cabin and our entire stay.
Everything we needed and more. If you love waking up to mountain views and birds singing, this place is a dream come true! We loved going in the hot tub when it was cooler in the morning and enjoying the fire pit at night. Lots of space in the cabin and everything worked perfectly.
Field of Dreams is a wonderful place to come and enjoy the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. It is clean, cosy, with lots of little extras. We will definitely come again.
If you’re looking for a big log cabin with a great view of the mountains, look no further. 20 mins from golden, the location is definitely rural but the view is worth it. It’s right on the blaeberry river on a big piece of land. It’s brand new and huge with plenty of bathrooms and beds for a large group. A true log cabin stay
It was really nice to have the Field Of Dreams be our home base during the week of exploring the Canadian Rockies. The hot tub and fire pit were so welcoming to come home to after the day away. We also were able to enjoy a cozy inside fire on a cool, raining day. The property had more than enough spaces to relax and sleep in.
We met in Golden as it was halfway between Red Deer and Kelowna to celebrate a 65th birthday. It was ideal as 3 couples each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house was very well provisioned from kitchen to bathroom essentials. I was surprised their was no window coverings on any windows particularly the bedrooms. There is a little hike down to a lovely river which we enjoyed. The hot tub and fire pit was great to have. The maintenance guy (Farmer)was great and very helpful. The power breaker was quick to trip but we figured it out. The house was new and comfortable and would stay again. The property owner Tiphani was always quick to answer any questions and concerns. Thank you for sharing your property
The cabin is clean and comfortable. Great hot tub with relaxing view of mountains and stars. Property manager did a great job providing firewood and other amenities as needed. We unfortunately did not have internet during most of our stay. Property manager was mostly unsuccessful in fixing, and ownership was unresponsive for a couple days. All things considered, we probably had an even better time there being completely disconnected. If internet is important for you, maybe connect with owner ahead of time to ensure it’s accessible.

Better late than never. We stayed at this property in early July and it is a beautiful property. We had 3 families gather to celebrate a special anniversary. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes, utensils, frying pans, etc. Table was big enough to have all 8 of us sitting together. Beautiful deck, sun or shade if you want. Major heat event while we were there, lots of time spent at the river. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have lots of bathrooms with 8 in our party. Any little issues we had were dealt with swiftly. Have no qualms in recommending the property. Quiet, beautiful building, everything we needed so that we could enjoy each others company. Hope to visit again in the future.
Hot water tank runoff over flowed the pail that it was in. We cleaned it all up and washed linens, unable to reach property manager
They need to fix this.
Other than that it was great

Location was great! Unfortunately heating in the one bedroom and bathroom kept blowing the breaker. So that was not enjoyable. Would be nice to have curtains in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Also extra towels. We ended needing to purchase in town, and they were quite costly. town
Three friends and I chose Golden, BC for a week of hiking/fishing in the local mountains. The location worked out great for us. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had all the amenities we needed for the four of us.
The 'above and beyond' extras at the property were welcome for us during our stay. We loved the hot tub, fire pit, hot/cold water dispenser, coffee maker and stereo speaker.
The property manager checked in on us a couple of times during our stay and even recommended a couple of lakes for us to fish. All in all we had a great time.
The house is huge, comfy, clean and just amazing. Beds are like clouds. Everything was spotless and equipped with everything we might need.
About 30 minutes drive from Kicking Horse ski resort. Perfect for a group or large family. The view is nice and the spa super warm after a ski day 😋. The host was super friendly and quick to answer our questions.
Only thing you should know is that the house is pretty remote. You do not have cellular coverage. But once connected to the wifi, all was fine. Make sure you save the address and the directions upfront because the last 10 minutes drive, the GPS/Maps is not working.
Overall, a luxury retreat. Best option if you don’t feel like sleeping in some of the 2 stars hotels in Golden. They are quite crappy.
Friendly suggestions for the owners:
- Leave a note with wifi details and leave it on the counter
- Advise ahead of trip the details regarding GPS and cell coverage
- Leave a note about garbage/recycling disposal (we don’t like to leave trash behind ☺️)
This place is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Don’t look further.
