Perfect location!

Easy 10 minute walk to both the Franklin Factory (to the left) and downtown (to the right). Cute and clean house, nice, quiet neighborhood. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

Franklin Getaway

We enjoyed our time at this sweet two bedroom, two bath cottage near Franklin. It was clean, well organized and equipped. Communication was good. Look forward to staying again in the future.

Great cottage, great location!

We loved our stay here. The cottage was adorable and in pristine condition. The furnishings were beautiful and we had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. It is located in a charming neighborhood, within walking distance of downtown Franklin. Matt was wonderful to work with and responded quickly to our questions. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Awesome Place!

This property was awesome - so glad we chose this place to stay! :) Downtown is just a 10 minute walk (if that), and the home (duplex) itself was well decorated and very clean! No frills (bring your own soap/shampoo/etc), but otherwise we have zero complaints, and would happily stay here again~

Amazing!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home (we liked it so much we booked it again for another visit to Nashville). Immaculate, beautifully decorated/remodeled, with all the comforts of home. Super close to everything yet still very quiet. We definitely would book again if ever back in the Nashville area!!

Fantastic Cottage Close to Downtown Franklin

We loved staying in this cottage. The pictures don’t fully convey the charm of this cottage. It was spotless, easy to navigate, and so comfortable. Cold AC for the hot Tennessee summer! A two minute drive to downtown Franklin or the Farmers market. Modern appliances though we did not cook while on vacation. We look forward to returning in the cooler months.

Girls birthday getaway

Loved the quaint cottage! We did request that the porch light be fixed, but it never worked while we were there. More towel bars in all bathrooms as well as a toilet paper dispenser in the small bathroom would have been appreciated.

Beauty and function= Perfection

I love clean, beautifully designed spaces that function and stand up to the rigors of a fast paced weekend. This spot was perfect. We walked to the Factory for tacos in the evening and morning coffee. Then strolled downtown for breakfast and shopping. The back porch provided a peaceful spot for reading and happy hour. Matt has amply provided for guests- a five star experience and then some. The interior is a gorgeous neutral palette-a perfect backdrop for sun-filled rooms.

Friend weekend get away

2 couples went for a weekend getaway. Property was just as described. Very clean and nice. You will have to bring your own seasonings, staples , coffee and cream. Home has no pantry items. We only made breakfast so wasn’t a problem for us. Is about a 45 minute drive to The Grand Ole Opry and General Jackson River Cruise which we would highly suggest. Broadway in Nashville was also about 45 minutes . All fun things to do but will need to allow for travel. Overall had a great weekend at Matt’s cottage and would recommend. Thanks Matt for your quick responses and allowing us to stay.

This cottage is as charming as the pictures, it could not have been any better! Matt responded immediately to all our messages, checking on us during our stay. The location of the house was perfect for walking to the Factory and downtown for restaurants and shopping. Strolling the neighborhood was fun too. This house had an incredible kitchen as well. Even though we didn’t cook while there, it had everything you would need for cooking a big holiday meal if desired. Everything about Garden Gate Cottage was perfect, It’s beautiful, comfortable and feels like home, a wonderful place to share with family and friends.

Absolutely perfect. The house is even better than any picture could show. The decor is so charming and comfortable. Located in a beautiful neighborhood less than a half mile walk to downtown Franklin. We will definitely be staying here again.
