Beautiful home, great location!

Villa Blue Lagoon is a beautiful home! It’s clean and well stocked with everything needed for entertaining. It’s also in an excellent location, close to everything you need for shopping. We loved it! Sadly, our vacation was cut short because of a family emergency. But we would love to return. We definitely recommend this property!

2 relaxing weeks at Blue Lagoon

The beauty of this home outweighs the few issues we had. We would definitely stay here again. The pros: • The screened lanai pool area is beautiful and where we spent most of our time • The home is clean, spacious, and was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen had everything we needed • The grill in the lanai gets warm enough to give a steak a good sear • The seawall had plenty of room to dock the 24 foot tri-toon we rented • The canals are easy to explore by boat and day trips in the boat to Sanibel were fun (about 1 1/2 Hrs to Sanibel) • The home is very close to grocery shopping and some good restaurants The Cons: • When we arrived on Saturday the hot tub was not heated and it took the management company until Tuesday evening to get it working • Some of the outlets on the lanai were not working due to a tripped breaker. We ran an extension cord to get the TV to work on the lanai. We also could not use the refrigerator on the lanai. The Management Co said they would gain access to the breaker but they never did. • The ice machine shown on the lanai does not work. It is not advertised in the amenities, but it would have been great to have ice to take on the boat. * Privacy was a concern. At times one of the cameras on the lanai that faces the home was showing a red light. We were told it was not on, but it made us uncomfortable. There are no window treatments for the windows in the main bath or the lanai doors into the main bedroom. Overall it was a great stay!
