Definitely do not recommend staying here. There was a hole and water stain in the ceiling of the main room. The ceiling was brown from the water. I contacted the owner and he asked for a picture. After an hour he got back to me and said it had been there for 4-6 months and wasn’t a problem. Not sure what is worse - that you knew about it and didn’t fix or thought it was ok for someone to stay in a house with a hole in the ceiling. The owner wouldn’t give me a refund and only offered me a partial discount. He said it wasn’t that big of a deal. Vrbo is supposed to be removing the listing. We definitely did not stay there and found another place. The owner sent me a picture the next day of the hole fixed. I guess someone had to say something before he was ever going to fix it. Owner would never return my calls. Do not stay here.

We had a leak from a heavy snow/ice storm and it was a tiny hole. We had it scheduled to be repaired on turnover and unfortunately it really made this guest upset. We fixed it on the down time because they checked out immediately as a result of the hole. This review is unfortunate because it’s not representative of our overall property. Leaks happen unfortunately and given the choice of canceling someone to repair or wait for turnover, we chose to not cancel people. That could have been a mistake but I think it would be far worse to cancel someone’s travel plans last minute.
