Because of the extreme cold weather, we arrived to find water on the kitchen floor from a broken ice maker pipe.The host responded quickly. The maintenance guy and house cleaner were there and gone in less than 90 minutes. The home itself was bright, cheerful and clean. TWO fenced yards for the dogs! The bed was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, screened porch seating and dining a bonus. We had a great stay and plan to return.

The cutest little house in the cutest little neighborhood! We loved the fenced in yard and the darling little porch. Loved walking to downtown St. Marys and exploring the quaint little neighborhood with a ton of history. The house was exactly as described!

Great location easy walk to downtown St Mary’s, quiet neighborhood and friendly people all around. We really enjoyed the screened in porch! So nice for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Considering the length of our stay ( 10 days) supplies could have been better stocked. No worries , we picked up what we neededThank you great experience!

Great location--easy walk to the waterfront and local restaurants and coffee shop.House was clean and well equipped for us.We were able to bring our dog and she enjoyed the fenced backyard for fetching and playing.My husband enjoyed the local golf courses.We would definitely stay here again.

The location was exactly how it was advertised and fulfilled my expectations! And the location was outstanding. I could easily walk to the waterfront area of St Marys within six minutes. (or drive to it in one minute). And, with the fenced front yard, the location was perfect for my dog.Most certainly will stay at this location the next time I return to St Marys.

Nightmare

First day we arrived the A/C was not working properly. Took a day for the house to cool down. The internet was not working at all until 2 days before we checked out. The place was not very clean after looking at the A/C vents and ceiling. A/C vents moldy and dusty. Mold growing on ceiling, looked like a roof leak or from A/C. I wouldn't let my kids stay there the entire week because of these things. Thanks for ruining our family vacation.

Owner's response: "Joseph, Thank you for providing this feedback. We missed the mark and we apologize. We’re sorry that we couldn't keep our promise to make vacation rentals easier for everyone. We understand your frustration and we take full responsibility. We were asked to relocate you by the owner because of the AC and wifi issues and we did not get this taken care of. We also offered you a 20% refund due to the inconvenience of not having wifi for 2 days and AC for one night.We want you to know that this owner is accustomed to providing their guests with a 5-star experience and this is not something that has occurred in the past. The owner was surprised by your documentation to Evolve as they take cleanliness very seriously and do not have mold problems. The HVAC system has air handlers in the ceiling and sometimes condensation occurs, the stain on the ceiling was caused by this. Please know that we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests."
