Quiet cosy and modern cabin nestled in the woods - perfect retreat for a couple or single person

I stayed for a month in March and was delighted to find the cabin was warmed and welcoming during my check-in. Heating is via a furnace and ceiling fan (to circulate air and cool the upstairs during summer) - note that the fan makes a small amount of noise, so if you are a light sleeper you may need ear plugs.The cabin is modern - with a well equipped cooking area, and a decent bathroom and shower. It also has easy access (20 minute drive) to Palisades and Alpine Meadows for skiing, and it has lots of trails within walking distance from the doorstep to explore when the snow meltsNote that the bathroom is downstairs, and so is a guest sofa bed, whilst the main bed is in loft up some stairs - so if you have guests for more than a weekend, the cabin could feel cramped
