Hidden Gem

Our week stay with the family was amazing. The condo is part of Sandpiper Cove Condos which has the feel of a gated community and not a high rise condo, (this unit is on floor 2 of 2). Sandpiper has a security gate and the staff their do a great job making sure the complex is safe and that only residents are gaining access. The grounds were well taken care of. We loved the second floor balcony above the canal. We saw lots of fish swimming below, turtles, cranes and we even were lucky enough to see 8 manatees swim into and back out of the canal, that was a real treat. We also couldn't believe how convenient the beach access was from this unit, you can walk to Sandpipers private beach maybe a 5 minute walk. We choose to drive as their is free parking for guests of Sandpiper right on the beach. The free beach umbrella and chairs were a nice touch. We also have access to Rick's sandtrap a small restaurant on the beach which serves good food and cold beverages and can offer a break from the sun. The pickle ball courts were lighted and always busy later in the evening, fishing can be done off some of the docks on the canal. The beds were very comfortable and the unit had some Legos, and board games for the kids. We will be staying here for our next trip, you won't be disappointed. Management was quick to reach out and offer support as needed, which we didn't need but they contacted us a few times to check in. Thanks for a great time.
