We had 2 couples meeting up for a short getaway and we found this secret hideaway. The kitchen was the best equipped we've ever found, and the screened in deck was used every night. The split bedroom floorplan ensured privacy for all. Parking was tight and muddy due to some rain, but the overall experience was exceptional! We'll definitely return!

A little get a way

Beautiful, clean and peaceful! We brought our kayaks and took them over to King's Bay and explored the springs. We did a little fishing and were lucky to see 2 dolphin playing down at the dock. A perfect place for our type of lifestyles since we enjoy the outdoors!

What a delightful weekend we had at Fisher's Paradise! The home is spacious and clean and on a great property. We went to relax from the stresses of daily life and this location fit the bill. Many things to do in this area. We particularly enjoyed kayaking and local restaurants. We did not cook while there but it appeared most anything you might need is provided. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time visiting this location - house is as beautiful as the pictures! We saw manatee, dolphins, and a few small gators right off the dock - a pleasant surprise to our trip :) the host has all the necessities at your disposal; zip locks, towels, pillows, blankets, coffee filters, ice, etc!!!! This is so helpful to have on hand!I highly recommend visiting Rainbow Springs State park in Dunnellon while you’re there, you won’t regret it!

We stayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Very nice layout with bedrooms on opposite sides of main living room area. Beautifully decorated and clean. Well supplied with everything you need We enjoyed the screened in porch and dock. Even though the weather was chilly during our stay the afternoon sun hits the dock making it enjoyable to sit by the river and watch wildlife!

The house was very nice inside and on the water and the view was beautiful. The host was super nice & the beds were comfy! I would say the only thing is I wouldn’t advise swimming off the dock. We are Florida natives and we swim almost anywhere but there were a lot of gators otherwise the house was perfect

Bird paradise with a water view

We loved everything about this property! It was modern, classy, spotless and so quiet & relaxing! You would never know you were so close to so many amenities in the area when sitting by a slow moving river and listening to the songbirds. If we ever stay i. I actually contacted them to tell them more updated and better pictures are needed of property. With a majority of VRBOs, the pics are better than the rental. In this case the rental was far better than the pics. Absolutely a wonderful place. On a cleanliness scale it was a 10. Pics make it seem as if it is a house with 2 separate room for rent, it is one house with 2 bedrooms and comes as one rental. A better pic of the dock would also be appropriate as the back of the property is better than described. Place is great.

Our stay was perfect. Property came exactly as advertised. Was very happy with the cleanliness of the house. Its a beautiful house and very modern with decorations that make it and anglers paradise. Didnt have any luck fishing from the dock though. Our daughter loved the back porch and with it being elcosed it was a lifesaver for keeping her from the river. We will be back for sure

The property is exactly like the pictures! The owners made sure you have everything you need and even things you might have not realized! We enjoyed our stay and all the comforts of home! My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock and we liked the area. It is a bit low key but the ice cream at Guyers is fantastic and we enjoyed seeing the manatees. If in the area again we would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!

Delightful Riverside Retreat

This “fish camp” on a quiet stretch of the Withlacoochee River is a great place for two couples or a small family to relax and to use as a base for exploring the area. Two bedrooms, each with a comfortable king bed and en suite bath, separated by a generous common area with comfortable seating for 6 and a well-equipped kitchen with dining area. A large screened deck on the back faces the river. While the exterior architecture is an old style, the interior is clean and up to date. We will definitely book this property again if we return to the area.
