About this property
ONE WEE COTTAGE - boutique country bliss in the Yarra Valley
A sweetly curving country road will lead you to this adorable little mud brick cottage nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley wine district.
One wee Cottage is stylishly renovated but maintains a unique charm and the warm atmosphere of a bygone era.
Sip on a glass of your favourite wine from one of the local vineyards, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility the air fragrant with the scent of lavender and wisteria.
Think stone cottage in Provence
Romantic and idyllic, a place to dream
This lovely cottage is set on a quiet road, yet right in the heart of Healesville. The property is opposite a natural bushland park so kookaburras, parakeets and kangaroos can be spotted by the lucky visitor.
A wide wraparound verandah will lead you to the entrance of this cosy and light filled cottage.
The living space is open and inviting, with a dedicated dining area, reading corner, smart TV, complimentary Netflix, wood burning fire and brand new split system so you're cool in summer and enjoying a cosy and romantic atmosphere in the winter months. The property is on one level, so easily accessible to all.
Two beautifully appointed bedrooms each have new queen size beds with 1200 thread count linen.
Ceiling fans, oil heaters, storage for clothes, extra pillows and blankets as well as brand new electric blankets, make these spaces cosy, comfortable and romantic.
The well appointed, brand new country style kitchen boasts all the mod cons for those who love to cook, with dinnerware, glassware and napery in abundance.
The long row of kitchen windows offers views over the front garden and the natural parklands across the street.
The gorgeous bathroom offers a deep tub for long relaxing soaks, with a hand held shower, toiletries and towels provided for the guests.
A separate bathing area incorporates the shower room with wash basin and mirror and adjacent toilet.
A brand new front loader washing machine and clothes racks for drying are available.
This cottage has been lovingly restored and renovated combining the best of modern amenities with bespoke pieces of furniture and homewares collected on my travels along the years.
The result is a warm and inviting space I heartily invite you to visit.
If you are celebrating a special occasion, and have some requests regarding food, these can be accommodated with notice and at an extra cost.
Extra dining chairs are available as well as a highchair and a porta cot upon request.
Please feel free to reach our with any questions.
I shall endeavour to respond promptly.

Why they chose this property
The Yarra Valley is blessed with some of the most beautiful scenery in Victoria.
As you drive uphill and down dale world famous vineyards are spread out before you and there are many cellar doors in the valley to explore that offer delicious repast.
Vibrant and eclectic Healesville is only a one minute drive from my cottage,
My abode is positioned on a very private and seclude block with a national park across the road. Many times as I've pottered in the garden I have spotted kookaburras, kangaroos, parakeets and even the occasional echidna.
The beautiful Yarra valley is only a 75min drive from Melbourne CBD and therefore makes it the perfect destination for a getaway.

What makes this property unique
I have completely renovated this sweet little mud brick cottage.
It reminds me of a farmer's cottage in Provence France, and so I have styled it somewhat in that fashion.
Much of the furniture, many of the furnishings and wall art have been produced by me and collected by me along my travels.
Most pieces hold such special memories and now in my sweet wee cottage they all combine to create an environment that I believe is warm, welcoming, interesting, relaxing and romantic.
