PAPER GOODS: Bring paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, coffee filters. Your kitchen is equipped with dinnerware, silverware, drinking glasses, and basic cookware, but you may want to bring paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic ware.

Suited all our needs!

We stayed here for my mom’s 75th bday celebration which was 13 of us. The pool was great to relax in after a day at Garner(which was a short drive away). It was 4 families so the bedroom set up was perfect, especially having separate entrances. Kitchen had all the necessities to cook full meals. We will stay here again!

Great Weekend Getaway

Had a great time at Casita Bonita. We just needed a quick getaway to recharge and visit with friends and this was the perfect spot. House was spacious and gave each couple a room and bathroom to themselves. When not exploring Concan and the surrounding are, we were visiting in the living room or hanging out in the pool. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and grill. Next time we'll book for a longer stay.

Having stayed at this property numerous times, we were excited and knew this property would be perfect for our group. Property was clean and stay was great, even though there was no sort of "starter kit" on supplies provided. One issue, which would have easily made this a 5 star stay, was the lack of communication. Numerous attempts were made to contact host with issues connecting to WIFI and missing remotes and no response was ever received.

We met in college in 1995 and have been together ever since. Frio River Resorts was started by Brannon's parents nearly 20 years ago and it has been continuously Hightower-family-owned and operated the entire time, with us buying the business in 2018.

We're local and we live in Concan full-time and enjoy serving as stewards of our community with participation in local boards and volunteer organizations. You've likely seen us on River Road as you leave on Sunday supporting the Concan Volunteer Fire Department in our “Fill The Boot” fundraising campaigns, or out to eat at Neal's or House Pasture.
