About this property
The Wattage
Cottage on Little Hawk Lake. This quaint, rustic 2 bedrm, 3pc bath cottage also has a bunkie for extra sleeping. Enjoy fires, fishing, hiking, swimming + boating on this clean, deep lake. The small cabins are set under the white pines very close to the shoreline. Enjoy sunrises on the West shore. This cottage is only accessible to guests by boat. Bring your boat through the public boat launch or rent one from one of the marinas. Guests can be ferried by host for check-in/out on weekends.
The space
The main cottage is close to the water and has living room views of the lake. There is an outdoor dining room and deck, as well as a large dock. There is a separate sleeping bunkie behind the cottage.
Guest access
Guests will have access to 194 feet of rocky shoreline, dock with swim ladder, cottage, deck, bunkie, fire pit*, chiminea*, extra outhouse, and peddle boat. Guests will not have access to the utility spaces.
*provided no fire bans are in place at the time. Firewood is sometimes provided, but if you wish to have lots of campfires you'll need to bring wood.
Other things to note
Guests can bring their own boat, or rent one from a nearby marina, take water taxi, or host can ferry guests for check-in/check-out on weekends, weekday ferrying can be arranged depending on availability. A peddle boat and row boat are included with the cottage but any damage is guest's responsibility. These boats are only available until Sept 15th. Please note there are a lot of stairs and some of them can be steep. Many of the stairs are tricky to navigate, especially when rainy. A canoe is sometimes available if you check with the host in advance.
